Good ice cream, good service, good parking, ok seating. Great place to get ice cream if you’re in the area, we’ll be back.

Wow. This place is awful. Awful service and quite frankly the ice cream is plain gross. I walk in looking through the ice cream cakes looking to see if they have any flavor besides vanilla, chocolate and cookie pieces. The lady comes out and tells me she only has that combo in different sizes. She then asks me how many people, and I tell her I only need the smallest size. Without confirming that I want, she immediately grabs the small cake, rushing me into buying it. It was at this point I should have walked out. Every single ice cream/custard/Italian ice place I’ve ever been has always had the kindest service. I also grabbed a small cup of Magic Fountain Fudge ice cream to check out what the local ice cream shop has to offer. This is probably the worst ice cream I’ve ever had. It started out with the consistency of a McDonald’s hot fudge sundae, but then eventually works out to the worst aftertaste I have ever had from an ice cream. It had the aftertaste of plastic, and I’m not even using a plastic spoon. More than an hour later, I was still tasting it in my mouth. Now instead of taking any risks with my family and their children, I’m going to throw out the cake and pick up one from a spot I’m more familiar with.

I liked the ice-cream but the lady there spoiled the whole craze. Unlike most shops she said no to samples. She was rude and then smiled like an idiot. God bless her soul. I will be happy to keep away some customers who like good icecream but can‘t compromise the associated fun.

Roselle, NJ residents! Fear not, Magic Fountain on Chestnut Street still exists! You may have to drive to essex county to get it, but those infamous milkshakes will never disappear unless this place does.

Fun little local dive for a quick ice cream, smoothie, sorbet, and other frozen desserts. Service was nothing extraordinary, but the ice cream was good. Some of their flavors are homemade, but I haven’t tried them(yet). About $ 3.50 for a small ice cream; a bit steep, but it’s nice to support local businesses. I’d return. Easy parking’s always a plus.

I give this place 4 stars based solely on their«Main Squeeze» smoothie. Its a strawberry/banana smoothie made their homemade vanilla ice cream. It’s to die for! I haven’t tried anything else… YET. but the 2 times I’ve been there in a week… yes a week I’ve had the smoothie and it makes me want to keep going back for more. DELICIOUS! They don’t have the massive selection of ice creams, like Applegate Farms does… but that’s OK because their smoothie kicks major a$$! LOVEIT!

The ice cream was good, they had a good selection and a decent selection of toppings, not as wide and vast as a place like Carvel, but very good overall. Extra points for their various flavors of ice cream that you don’t see everywhere, like Maple Walnut.
