Beautiful building, and I really enjoyed their brews. Sunday afternoon there was live local music. There were just two of us and the place wasn’t packed. Service was friendly and prompt.

I just came from picking up a growler of: «White Heat.» It’s a 50⁄50 mix of a wheat and an IPA. I tried several samples and all were very good, but needed to take a growler of their White Heat home for the weekend. The building is amazing and so is the scenery around it. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer they are serving. I will be back when this growler is empty!

I love trying local beers and meeting the people that make it come alive. Beautiful location, with a rustic theme throughout, with an old pick up truck in the yard, to all the décor inside. I love that the orders took their name Holden and spelled it backwards to come up with the name of this brewery. They have on long bar for taste testing, I recommend having an appointment with a large group of people. The staff was very attentive and helpful with our group. As for the beers: My favorite was the 5&20IPA… an orange, grapefruit, melon, juicy 7% light and refreshing! Chocolate Gose– Tradtional Gose w/cacao 3.5%…was good with just a hint of chocolate. FLX Farmhouse Saison… lemons, pineapples, slight spice 4.5% The spice gives it just enough of a kick. It was a sunny beautiful day, after we sampled a few beers we ordered a pint and went out back where they have a patio with more seating. *** check out their website for different events, including music and food activities.*** Tasting Room Hours Wednesday & Thursday: 1−8pm Friday: 12−8pm Saturday: 12−8pm Sunday: 12−6pm Come check this place out!

This place is kind of in the middle of no where. Its got a gravel parking lot(new car owners beware). Its absolutely beautiful when you enter. Very rustic. You have a view of the brewing area. The long bar is looking out onto the pack patio where you can sit at some high tables. Its quiet sunny out there so they have a little overhang for the tables. They also have bean-bag toss for you and your friends. I recommend making a reservation if you plan on bringing a large group for a fun tasting!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The chandelier is so unique and the high ceilings are spacious. I came here with my family for the wood-fired pizzas they have on Friday nights. The people behind the counter had pretty much no personality and were not particularly friendly. They didn’t have any suggestions. I don’t even think I saw any of them smile. My stepdad mentioned that he thought one of the beers was lacking a little body and the guy’s only response was«well it’s an IPA…» and left it at that. We sat outside eating our really great pizza and drinking our mediocre beer, mostly enjoying the scenery. The father of the one of the owners actually stopped by to ask us how we were and chat us up. He was the friendliest employee we met although that doesn’t say a whole lot. He talked with us about the hops that he grows(we had a lot of questions!), how he came to Bloomfield, and the like. Takeaway is beautiful scenery, horrible service.

Nedloh is actually the owners name spelled backwards, thus the name for the brewing company. I Love the inside of this place, very nice and very new(they just opened October 4th) As for the beers, I’m optimistic one of these tries I’ll find a beer here that will absolutely blow my mind away but as for now, I didn’t find a flavorful tease your taste buds type I love. So far Cinco de nedloh is about the best, it’s brewed in tequila barrels and has a lime flavor to it. Way out of my porter and stout world for sure! The staff here is great! Very friendly and will chat all day long if you’d like. Also they offer 6oz $ 2 samples but no flights. I’m not sure why really, just pour me 4, kick in the $ 8 and call it a flight perhaps?!? Sure I’ll come on back and try something new and maybe I’ll fall in love here with a brew!

I grew up in Bloomfield, but have been living in beer town usa, bend or for the last 19 years. It was great to come home and find this style of brewery in my old hometown. I sampled the Saison, IPA, and the double IPA. All were quite good. Not the exact standard as Bend but not bad. The ambiance was fun and very bend like. If you’re rolling by from the ski hill or the lakes, this is a fun quality place to stop for a drink.

This is an amazing building, and some damn good beers! I LOVED the Berliner Weiss… and I’m going to guess the previous reviewer drinks PBR on a regular basis and has no palette for anything else. There was a decent crowd, but they handled our party with pretty good service. We cornered the owners and chatted for about 20 minutes, they are super nice!!! I look forward to returning, this time with more growlers!

Getting 2 stars due to the building itself. The beers are possibly some of the worst I have ever tasted. The Berlin Calling beer tasted like piss and vinegar combined with a bad hard cider. Save yourself some time and stay home with a case of PBR. The actual facility is nice and they could do with some refinement to the recipes to improve the quality of the beer.

I would have loved to write a review about how good their beer was, however my friend and I waited for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged any of the staff while they served people that came in after us. So we were unable to try any of their beer because their customer service was so poor.

Wow– what a gorgeous brewery! I have been to tons of breweries and this is one of the prettiest facilities I’ve seen. I came opening weekend– they had a food truck and a steel drum band jammin’. Generally Nedloh(Holden, the owners’ last name backwards) has six beers on tap but today they only had four– –5&20IPA –Ryder’s Rye Porter –FLX Farmhouse Saison –Berlin Calling — Berliner Weisse Samples are $ 2, pints are $ 5, growler pours are available as well. We had the IPA(loved it! wonderfully citrus!) and Porter(I was not a huge fan– the rye overshadowed the traditional vanilla/chocolate notes for me). All and all, I’d like to try more. The bar itself is a beaut. Large and glorious and overlooking a lovely stretch o’ land. There’s also a huge retail area with Nedloh t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and pint glasses should you be inclined. The brewery also has New York state’s first hops museum, dedicated to preserving the history of hops growing in the Empire State. Plus, In 2 – 3 years, there will be a hops farm too! If I was a local, I’d love coming here to hang for a bit but the hike is a little too far for me to make on the regs from Rochester.
