Decent place… nothing too over the top. Been there a couple of times. Last time I was there I ordered the vanilla frozen yogurt with blueberries and strawberries. Staff was normal and not social or informative when I asked about their recommendations. Overall, ok experience.

3 stars for the ice cream taste, selection, and service. This Coldstone is located inside of Stratford mall which has really taken a hit within the last 10 years. Most major stores have moved out of this mall. So sad actually. So this location can not get a star for location. Let’s talk cream… The selection of ice creams are decent, they have your usual chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc. they also have cheesecake, red velvet, cotton candy… Their toppings are most major candy bars and fruits and your usual toppings. What I love about Coldstone is the taste! It’s awesome customizing your food. It is a little pricey though. Their signature flavors start at $ 4.79 for a small. Small cup of plain ice cream is $ 3.59. I love their ice cream cakes and other delicious creations!(Shakes, ice cream sandwich)

very poor service, the manager nisha or something similar was very hasty and had no patience. They are slow and don’t even realize that you are there, they were hiding in the back doing something else. very rude workers.

This will be fairly quick. No one was there. I walked right up to the register area thinking that someone would appear. And I waited. And waited. And then tried to check-in while I waited. But I couldn’t. So I setup the business on Unilocal(even though I could not patronize the business… since no one was there). But first I looked it up on the web in order to get the address right. And then I double checked. Finally, I considered calling to see what would happen. But then I just couldn’t feel good about giving them my money anyhow. And so after putting a Tip on Unilocal.I said good bye(to no one) and walked away. The End.

Cold Stone Creamery stopped impressing right around the time I realized there were ice cream shops outside of malls. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re shopping up a storm and need a scoop stat, this will do. But if you want quality cones, there are so many better places to go with true old-fashioned atmosphere. Cold Stone is expensive. I had a 2-for-1 coupon and still couldn’t believe how much it cost. The girl ringing me up was nice enough, but she could not figure out how to apply the discount and it took forever. Our ice cream was starting to melt as we waited. I don’t know why I rushed to eat it either, because it was quite bland and the waffle bowl was hard and stale. I got a couple bites of my mix-in here and there, but I had to search for it. Trust me. It will take you less time to locate a local ice cream shoppe(with an e) and drive there than it will to distinguish which flavor you ordered at CSC. Your tastebuds and your wallet will thank you for it.

Who doesn’t like ice cream? Pros: + Ice cream tastes great, can’t say I’ve had a bad one + It is fun licking the sugary goodness while browsing the stores, just don’t mess up your new clothes you purchased in the mall Cons: — Expensive — Even more expensive when you consider how little they serve you in relationship to how much you paid I’m a fan of Cold Stone’s product, but not at the cost of which they serve it at. Quite frankly, it is okay for a special occasion, but unless you’re an ice cream freak like some people are Starbucks freaks, one has to wonder if $ 6 for a small treat that hurts both your pocketbook and waistline are worth it. Thankfully I have a fast metabolism, but my wallet doesn’t always catch up so quickly!
