Customer service is kinda bad. The girls working seem real rushed to close a half hour early pulling everything out that was already put away. Plus they were just snotty. I asked for everything(on the sub) after they asked if I wanted Mike’s way and then I said«can I get the hot peppers» and she was all like«that’s not part of everything»…ok.

We go to jersey mikes regularly, at least once or twice a week. This is our primary location as it is closest to our house. For the most part, they make a good sandwich and the ingredients are fresh. The employees are somewhat hit or miss but for the most part friendly enough. The thing I don’t like — and this is not just for this location but jersey mikes generally — they lack training on sanitation protocol. I have seen people prepare the food with gloves on, then use the cash register and take money, and then go back to making food with the same gloves. That is disgusting, and so basic in training that it should never happen. And this has happened at least a handful of times at this location. And I have had them remake my sandwich because of it too. Sorry, I’m not paying $ 16 for a bacteria laden sub. They also like to take the lettuce that fell off the sandwich before and put it back in the bin for the next person. I understand you’re trying to not waste, but that should be a one way street, no food going back into the bin. Lastly, if I’m paying top dollar for a sub — and these sandwiches are not cheap — please have fresh lettuce that’s not rusty. And certainly drain the lettuce before you put it on my sAndwich because I’ve had someone here put wet(not just soggy) lettuce on my sandwich and it made the sandwich inedible. Even though I think this is better than subway or jimmy johns, they have some work to do before I will give them 5 stars.

Now having been to Jersey Mike’s twice, I feel a little more prepared to write a review. I wish I could go higher on the rating, for the sandwiches are usually decent(though I still like Potbelly more, I would rate it above Jimmy John’s though), but unfortunately the prices just don’t do it for me. I get it, the giant sandwich is pretty big, but almost $ 16 for a fricking sandwich(we got some sort of Reuben) and small drink? Forget that, I could get chicken marsala at a good Italian restaurant for that price. Service was OK, seemed a tad slow but nothing dreadful(they were pretty busy) and this last visit they initially gave us the wrong size sandwich(I was splitting it); however, upon being alerted to the mistake they quickly rectified the situation and gave us another sandwich to complete our other half. No complaints about store cleanliness either. Jersey Mike’s is A-OK, but for my sandwich price point, I’d rather go across the street to Potbelly.

I like this place. I would say stick to cold sandwiches. I got chicken parm first time and it was awful. Now I get the turkey and provolone Mike’s way, amazing! I feel like you have to order your topping slower or they mess it up, but I always like my sandwich anyway.

I love Jersey Mike sandwiches but it seems like this location has probably the most dense«working» crew in the county, you place the order for two sandwiches and the girl behind the counter still asked about 4 – 5 times what do I want while cutting the bread, once she made one sandwich she couldn’t remember what the other one was and attempted to guess instead of asking. It’s rather uncommon to see someone with Alzheimer who is clearly around age of 20 but I have experience it first hand at Jersey Mike in Bloomingdale. The rest of the line was rather temperamental and snotty too, will probably skip this location for the future.

Food is always good at Jersey Mike’s. That is only reason why this is going to start the service was horrible the representative did not even listen to what I wanted on my order and have no enthusiasm and was talking side conversations with other people that work there bad customer service

Sorry for coming in so close to closing time… but i thought the sign on the door said 9:00 pm not 8:45… Yeah it sucks you girls cant get out on your Friday night but you have a job to do and unfortunately you screwed it up. Sandwiches weren’t cooked all the way. Didnt taste like they should have. Dont think i will be going again anytime soon.

I got a chicken Caesar wrap and there was like 3 pieces of chicken in it. It also was extremely messy and small. Half of the wrap was folded up inside. My friend also got the veggie wrap and she said it tasted like only tomato. it again was also very small. I have never been to a jersey mikes that was bad before. I will not be going back to this one.

The food has nitrates, hydrogenated oils, corn syrup and soybean oil in most of the food, which is super unhealthy. The bread has a weird texture, like it’s been frozen and thawed or something. Not a fan. Definitely won’t try it again unless they improve their ingredients.

When sandwiches go to heaven, this is the place. I would recommend the chipolte Philly cheesesteak or the big kahuna. they are like a Philly on steriods! Great idea of having chipolte mayo or jalapenos that give it that extra zing. Everything is cut right in front of you. no disgusting old, cold meat. Even the bread compliments the meat. But go there when the girls are in, as they don’t overdo the oil and spices. They also can suggest the best add on of condiments… and I would suggest a tasty cake to go with your meal. They don’t have a variety of soups but a mini goes perfect with one and a regular is fine for anyone, even if you are a big guy like my 6’5“boyfriend. A giant is guaranteed for leftovers, which you won’t mind having. You won’t want to go across the street to panera again!

I can not seem to get fresh not stale bread from this location. It’s awful. I would say about the last 6 or 7 times I’ve been there since December the bread has been dry and hard. You can literally knock on it! After my last hard sandwich my boyfriend complained because we couldn’t even eat them and they have him a coupon for a free sandwich WITH the purchase of a drink! Really? Pathetic gesture. Anyway finally caved and used the coupon today and again… rock hard crispy dry bread. We will not be going here again and I’m going to contact corporate. I’ve never had an issue with fresh bread at a subway or Jimmy johns… or other Jersey Mikes locations.

3 stars for efficiency, taste, and cleanliness. This is located around other restaurants and businesses. I like jersey mikes but to me there’s not enough meat and very expensive. A cold sub would run you about $ 5 for a(mini) 6 inch. The selection is ok. They feature 1 soup daily. I got the club supreme and that was satisfactory. If you’re hungry though, get a regular which is 8 – 9 inches I think. I can’t imagine coming here on a busy day because the 2 girls working this day I came were too laid back. Oh well. Enjoy =)

I thought I would try this franchise. Nothing special here and they have a wider variety of unique sandwiches and this p, ace is still better than Subway. There are several locations and the service at this one was quick and pleasant. Nothing to complain here except cost and quality. You are better off going to a speciality deli

These people make an outstanding sub sandwich. The vinegar and oil is perfect, but make sure to ask for the chipotle may. The rewards program is pretty good too and I have replaced my Subway sandwiches for these.

Mike’s way pleeeeease! My fiancé and I love getting our Ginormous sandwich here. We find that just ordering the Giant is good for the two of us and very inexpensive. The people that work here are also very nice and friendly. We eat here all the time! Don’t forget to try, «Mike’s Way».

I have to downgrade this place to 3 stars. The other day I came in 30 minutes before closing and was told the grill was already closed. That’s ridiculous. I understand on a weeknight, the workers want to go home as close to closing as possible, but 30 minutes before? I don’t know if it’s something new, but either way, it’s not worth driving over there. So I went somewhere else. I guess next time I can call in ahead, but I’ll definitely consider other options. So, if you go to this location on a weeknight, and want a hot sub, plan on showing up before 8:30 pm or you will get turned away. bogus.

I’m still a fan. We catered 3 boxes of subs from here for my daughter’s birthday. Our guests were well fed and enjoyed their sandwiches. I ordered 1 box of Turkey, 1 box of roast beef and 1 box half veg/half tuna. Roast beef was the least popular(it comes a little on the rare side. My husband says that’s the way true roast beef is suppose to be.) The tuna was surprising gone in a flash. Its delicious served«Mike’s way»(tomato, onion, lettuce, oregano, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper) and doesn’t have that typically fishy tuna taste. We did have one guest who was allergic to gluten/wheat. They took special care to change their gloves before prepping his sub in a tub. They also made sure to use a new meat slicer and were very good about avoiding cross contamination. I spoke with Misha, the lady in charge of Marketing to place my order. It was quick, hassle free and well explained. She even delivered it for free to my door. Awesome!

OK, now that I have officially ordered catering for lunch meetings at work today — I can update my review to include catering as well. I eat here a lot personally, and LOVE this location more than any other, and was super excited to find out they catered — even more excited when I got JM approved by my office to order in for lunch meetings!!! It was super simple to set up a house account with Misha(marketing/catering) and Chris(GM). Both were very helpful in that process. My first catering order was taken by Chris this morning. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get food for two meetings on such short notice, but Chris was able to accommodate my request, and went above and beyond for us. Chris recommended all the best sandwiches for our group! Chris himself delivered the order — on time, explained the set up of their packaging(which is quite cool, and I now realize that I should have taken a couple of pics, because this is the best and most helpful presentation ever!!), and gave me some coupons to pass out around work. The set up took less than 10 minutes on my end, which was awesome. The presentation was great also, which I definitely appreciate.(I’m the weirdo that makes sure all the pop can labels are facing the same direction when placed out for work meetings… lol) I usually order for 1 – 2 extra people for each meeting just in case anyone is a good eater or in case someone unexpected shows up. I’m definitely glad I did that in this case also… When I went to each meeting to clean up, ALL of the sandwiches were gone, because everyone wanted to take one to go! I never get that response when I use other companies for lunches… I knew this place was amazing and I’m glad our customers and employees think so too. Not only will I be back for lunch for myself — I will also be back for catering — and I passed out the coupons around here this afternoon, so this location will be seeing a lot of my coworkers now too. Thanks so much Chris and crew for making today’s lunch AWESOME!!!

I’ve noticed in the last few years this franchise expanding all over the place in Illinois. Now with a ton of competition for sub places in the burbs(Subway, Potbelly, Quiznos… etc) it struck me as curious as to why this sub shop keeps popping up. I finally decided to check it out today and yeah… I get it now. The place itself is brand new and very clean/shiny. 3 large flat screens with sports on and comfortable new booths. Lots of space everywhere. It was comfortable to be in. Now on to the food. I don’t really have a preference for sub sandwiches so I wanted to get a good feel for the food here. I got the most signature thing I can see on the menu in the most signature way: Jersey Shore’s Favorite:(regular 7 inch $ 6.00): This is a pretty classic sub with ham, cappacuolo, and provolone. I got it «Mike’s Way» which is a pretty standard topping. Here are some stuff I noticed about this sub: The Size: Now many of you are probably thinking you can get a foot long for about 6 – 7 bucks at subway which is true but this reg-sized sandwich is noticeable wider. Like an inch and a half wider than subways rolls which I think more than makes up for it. The Quality: Fresh cut meat right in your face, bread was chewy and tasty. Lettuce and onions was cut to small strips and not wilted. I could go on. This is why this place keeps popping up everywhere, the quality is FANTASTIC! Way better than any Subway or Quiznos where everything is pre-cut and dying in a plastic bin. Even though it was freezing outside and my cold cut sandwich came to me ice cold, I didn’t mind cus it was DAMNDELICIOUS! Simple, fresh, and their house oil and vinegar was magic. One more sandwich like this and I’m sold on 5 stars. I have found my new local Sammich Joint.

Recently in my office we were given out cards for a free sub sandwich at a soon to be open«Jersey Mike’s» franchise nearby. When I drove by on my lunch break and noticed that they appear to be open I decided to stop in and utilize my coupon card. I got up to the counter and looked over the options, being fairly newly opened there were an awful lot of employees probably all getting experience in operating the eatery. I decided to go for an Original Italian served«Mike’s Way» on white bread. This came with provolone cheese, ham, prosciutto, salami, another lunch meat I could not identify, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil and some type of seasoning. While I was in line I was actually adding this location to Unilocal as no one had done so yet being newly opened. A few of the very bored employees who outnumbered the customers seven to one made small talk while I waited. One somewhat cool thing about Jersey Mikes is rather than use pre-portioned out pieces of lunch meat lime most other sandwich shops do, the use a deli slicer and cut the meat and cheese(no fart joke intended here) in front of you. Once I had my sandwich I was out the door, snapped a picture of the building and the menu and was headed back to the office to feast. The sandwich came on bread that has a hard exterior but was fairly soft on the inside. A few spots where there was tomato and a lot of oil and vinegar had become a tad soggy but for the most part the bread held up very well. The quality of the meats seemed high and the taste of the oil and vinegar combination was excellent. The hard outside of the bread was a little too firm for my liking and if and when I return here I may put the sub in the microwave for 10 seconds or so to soften it up. Overall I liked my sub here and will be back in the future. While I didn’t see anyone wearing a Jersey who might be named Mike, I enjoyed the food and I’m going to give my experience here four stars and give it a recommendation if you’re nearby and hungry for a sandwich. It was a good tasting quick and easy lunch option.
