The cabinets we ordered came in with a very poor quality. They were made of pressed particle board, and the doors were stapled together. Not happy at all.

They’re nice and helpful until your order gets placed, then everything changes. No response to calls or emails.
Had several problems with our order — door coming damaged (which our contrator admitted was a common occurance with this company) another week to get replacement in, doors not being slow close (as we asked for), doors opening from wrong direction, trim not as explained to us when ordered. Quality of cabinets not half as good as what we purchased two years ago from Home Depot with the price being similar.
Very disappointing experience. Won’t use them again.

This review is for Pearl Design Group’s Lakewood Countertops Division. I was in need of new countertops and went to several places to quote the Wilsonart HD Laminate tops, including another kitchen store in St. Charles and the box stores. Lakewood Countertops at Pearl Design Group came in at half the price of the store in St. Charles. It was about $ 100 more than the box stores, but Lakewood was willing to come out and measure and deliver the tops when complete, so I felt their price was worth it. Also, they explained why their process was better than the box stores.
The counters looked amazing and were well done. They did have to redo the backsplashes because I needed them ¼ inch taller than normal and someone misread the instructions, but they came and picked them up and fixed them and brought them back to me, so I can’t complain!

My search for a new kitchen began with big-​box stores. My kitchen is tiny, so I needed cabinets that would allow for storage. Initially, I went to Home Depot and was quoted a significant price for basic maple cabinets without cool features like a lazy Susan. Mistakenly, I provided my phone number and the Home Depot guy stalked me for months. A friend of mine suggested that I check out Pearl Design Group, as his kitchen was designed by them. Even though it was out of my way, I drove out there. It is right next to Stradford Mall, a few minutes away from 290. I worked with Ryan and he was great. He was able to design my new kitchen while having to work with a very small space. His design allowed for a lazy Susan for storage, quiet shut drawers and doors, as well as moulding. The price I was quoted was 30% less than Home Depot’s. The turnaround time for delivery was very quick. Once the cabinets were installed, we realized that one of the handles was broken and we were missing a side panel. I let Ryan know and he immediately addressed this issue. Great service, great price and a great kitchen! Highly recommended.
