This place reminds me of Boston Market and IHOP with the cheer of the Midwestern family. Fast, warm, traditionally comforting food. The broccoli cheddar soup is absolutely recommended! I also want to note that this particular location was very clean, not only the actual building, but also the employees were dressed sharply in their crisp white shirts. I will absolutely return.

At first I thought that previous reviews of two stars might have been harsh. They were correct. If I’d checked reviews before taking my wife here we would’ve chosen some other place to eat. We both got the pot roast dinner. We’ve eaten at many Bob Evans restaurants in the past so we know what to expect. This was the smallest portion of food I’ve ever been served. It was about half the amount you’d expect on a kids meal. In this case we didn’t say anything until we checked out because we didn’t want any«surprises» from the kitchen. Our server never asked how things were after our food was brought. When I checked out and paid, the cashier never asked how things were. So I told her. But that was indicative of the overall attitude. What little pot roast we did get tasted good. And a nearby patron gave us a coupon. Those were good points. We won’t return.

The bad reviews of this place surprise me. I thought it was totally decent, basic breakfast food. The server was friendly and prompt with the coffee refills. I had scrambled eggs with potatoes and pumpkin bread. The eggs were basic scrambled, and the potatoes were your basic home fries. The pumpkin bread had lots of real pumpkin in it. It’s not fancy, but not bad at all. Certainly better than the IHOPS and Denny’s in my local Houston.

This place is disgusting. The food was nasty and to compensate the manager tried to give us pie. I’m sorry sir but why would I want more food when I just said your food was nasty!!! Otherwise we still paid $ 22.00 for food we only took about 7 bites of. And the waitress’s attitude was just as nasty as the food. DONOT eat here. Disgusting.

We waited for ten minutes to be acknowledged, upon arrival. Even though we were the only customers. There was a large crowd of staff standing behind the counter discussing where they could get paid more. The Assistant manager Karen Carr seated us finally with no apologies or smiles or remote friendliness. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food was good. However there was a dead bug in our coffee. Upon check out there was a long line of customers waiting to check out. There was only one cashier was clearly new and was repeatedly stumped. Finally when it was our turn the assistant manager had to come help her. They never once apologized for the long wait, they actually never even looked at us.

Good service, good food, and my first experience ordering online for take out went perfect. The next time, not so much. They forgot my bacon. I called and the manager apologized, took down my name and address, and said she would send out a 5 dollar coupon immediately. 3 weeks later and nothing. I ordered online again and, when I went inside, I informed the manager of the situation and said instead of mailing me out a coupon, just comp my bacon now. She did, and I was happy. I counted the items in my order and all seemed well. Got home; missing bacon, sour cream, and chives on my potatoes.(It costs extra.) Pissed!

I went here one morning with some buds, and it was an interesting experience. The whole seating procedure and paying procesure I find strange, but whatever I guess. The hash browns are great and the crêpes are good. My first time having crêpes, but they were good. This server was a bit moody. My mum’s friend asked for more milk I think, and she just gave a little look like«UUGH I CAN’T BELIEVEYOUJUSTASKEDMEFORMILK! YOUDEMON!» So it was an interesting start to my day.

One of my worst dining experiences ever! Went in around 9pm on a Saturday… the place was dead. Had a few(maybe 3) tables occupied so we thought we’d have decent service. WRONG! First we had to wait so they could clean a table. Yes, ALL of the tables in the section we were seated were unclean(i.e. dirty dishes, food on floor, etc.). Hostess wiped down a table and left it soaking wet for us, so we had to ask our waitress to dry it off. So besides the place looking like a tornado went through and dropped dirty dishes and garbage everywhere, we had dirty silverware(it looked like dirty egg yolk that had been caked on). Asked for new silverware which we were given. I did ask for sweet tea which I was told that they were out of. Food was warm at best, bland, on questionably«clean» dishes. I wanted to leave so badly, but my company I was with was hungry so I stuck it through. Oh and the kicker: the HVAC system wasn’t working and the place was FREEZING. When we paid, manager apologized for the cold restaurant. After he swiped the debit card, he asked about our service. I told him it about our horrific experience, and he said«oh had someone told me earlier I would have comp’d your meal.» So I guess he couldn’t put the money back on the card, because he didn’t offer us anything but an apology. I was so upset I thought it would be best not to say too much. I told him I would never be back and left.

OK, I said I would never go back, but I’ve been back here a few times since and it has been much better. A friend was in town and we needed breakfast, so we went. Then went back one more time. Service has decent, food has been pretty good.
