This is a nice location. However, the apartments are older and have not been renovated other than replacing the carpet. The cleaning of the buildings is lacking, but office personal and maintenance technicians are nice.

Staff are so rude. Please be careful about your lease term, ask them to send you all documents. they change rules whenever they want and tenant do not have anything in their hands. Brickyard Dr. is all about money, do not recommend it at all!

Incompetent staff regarding renting apartments. Staff needs constant follow up as they often do not return calls/emails without prompting. Staff continues to make excuses for their mistakes/incompetence.

I have lived at the Brickyard Apartments for a few months now, and the experience has been quite good. The office is very good about responding to emails, and maintenance does a great job of responding to calls for things needed inside the apartments.
The office staff is very friendly, and the amenities offered (pool, clubhouse, gym) are great! Yes, it’s true that you may pay a little more than you might in other complexes, but I think the things that we get as residents of Brickyard are well worth it.
If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place to live that is within short driving distance of shopping, restaurants, and IWU/ISU, I would have no problem recommending Brickyard. When I was first looking at places in Bloomington-Normal, I didn’t plan on looking at any apartment complexes, but Brickyard was able to change my mind.

quiet gated community close to State Farm offices. Office managers are friendly, also opens on Saturdays. Relative clean given the complex first built about 20 yrs ago. Easy access to major roads. Only wish that management would clean the stairways and around often as there are dead bugs and spider webs on the walls
