Very unprofessional hair salon!!!
It’s just a waste of time!!!
I had an appointment, talked about what I want to get done… she sat me on the chair, she said she will go to mix the colors, then she came back saying :“actually, I don’t have time for this today, and if I would like to reschedule it for another time?”…
I’ll never ever go back again…

For the love of god do not go to this salon.
First time I went my hair cut looked horrible. I went to another salon the next day to have it fixed immediately.
Being the forgiving person I am, I decided that I’d give them another chance. I asked for a trim. Nothing more nor anything fancy.
The «stylist» disregarded my wishes and decided to chop off varying sections of hair. The «texture» added ruined the quality of my hair, I could not be more disappointed.

I went to C B Hair Design for a hair cut about a month ago. Sabrina, flat ironed my hair before cutting it even though I asked her not to. I am guessing she flat ironed my hair on the highest temperature since no matter how many conditioning and hot oil treatments my hair is getting it is really dried and damaged since then. I will never go back there.

I have long hair and bangs and have had the worst luck finding a stylist who doesn’t want to cut too much off and can correctly cut bangs. Evi was wonderful, she fit me in last minute and massaged my head during the wash which was so relaxing. She really listened to me and only cut as much as I had requested and no more. She also dried my bangs first before cutting (which is what all stylists should do!) and then dried my whole head and asked how I liked everything. Very kind, listened to my needs, friendly, and a great cost for wash, cut, and a blow-​dry at $ 25.

Great place… Sabrina Thierry is one of the best hair dressers ever. Been going to her for over 8+ and has the best prices around… a must go to for anything from colors, cuts and highlights…

I am very torn about this place. I get my hair cut here by Kaylyn and she is great, always does a great job (I would give her 5 stars!)
However– the rest of the place sucks. I got my eyebrows done here once and it seriously took 3 minutes (no clean-​up or anything) and it looked awful. The worst eyebrow wax ever. The front desk service also sucks.

Ok I’m going to try and be as fair as possible here. I am new in town and went here because it had good reviews on Unilocal.I am a twenty something female and wanted to cut about 6 inches off. To be fair my hair lady was super nice and experienced but my haircut took over an hour and when i got home and took a closer look it was all uneven and looked nothing like the picture i showed her. I’m sure if i went back she would have fixed it but I dont really have time for that and i kind of expect things to be right the first time so i have had to trim it to make it even myself. Anyway, I will probably look else where next time. Probably a great place for a quick trim or for a kid’s cut but not if you want anything major.

I third what the others have said. I desperately needed a trim while at home, so headed to CB since it was close by. The clientele is mostly an older bunch, but the stylists are young and know what they are doing.
I had Leah (Lea? pronounced «Lay-​uh») and she was fun to talk to and did a really great job on my hair. Only $ 25 for a cut!

Based on the other review I read I decided to try this hair salon out. I am currently a grad student in college and need a good hair cut and color that is good quality, yet inexpensive. This place for sure was everything I wanted! Erika was my stylist and did a fabulous job. My highlights and lowlights were exactly what I needed, and look wonderful. She was very nice and personable, and obviously likes to keep up with the most current trends. I’ve lived many places and am always on the lookout for good quality hair styling for cheap. I found it here. Only $ 75 for 3 different colors of highlight/​lowlights and cut. Super good deal from what I’ve seen elsewhere, especially for the quality. The other clients were of an older generation, but I heard that changes during evening hours (I was there on a weekday morning). I highly recommend this place.

I was visiting family in Bloomington and needed hair color help ASAP. My mother literally picked this place out of the phonebook and it was a lucky hit. The clientele is typically *much* older, but what a sweet group of people.
Donald is fantastic and did an amazing job on my highlights. His styling was excellent, too. Total cost was about $ 40, as I recall. If I can schedule my highlights around my trips to IL, I’ll save about $ 80!
