We have NEVER been disappointed by any Cardinal Stage Company performance. Each production brings its own creativity and interpretation. We always leave with something to think about and remember. Become a subscriber! You get the best seats in the house, and if you’re under 35 years old, it’s a pretty sweet deal. Staff is super friendly. Oftentimes I feel like I’m being transported somewhere Off-Broadway, which isn’t too shabby considering it’s Indiana.

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Bloomington, IN
Cardinal Stage Company is a professional equity theatre company in Bloomington. I recently went to their production of «Of Mice & Men» and then saw their children’s show«Peabody.» Both were absolutely fantastic! The acting was wonderful with experienced local and national actors. The sets were also very creative and worked well with the script and story. Cardinal doesn’t have its own theatre, so they typically use the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre and the Ivy Tech Waldron Arts Center for shows. Both are located downtown with lots of parking nearby. Because it is downtown, restaurants are close, so it’s nice to go for dinner and then a play after. Though they don’t have their own performance space, Cardinal does have a box office. You can purchase tickets there or online. Every time I am in the box office, staff is very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait for their next shows — The«Agony & Ecstasy of Steve Jobs» and«Buyer & Cellar»! They are bringing in actors from LA and New York, which is pretty awesome for a small town like Bloomington. I’ve become a huge fan of Cardinal and am strongly considering becoming a subscriber — specifically to their under 35 subscription program, which is more affordable for me, as I am graduate student at IU. Overall, excellent productions that are high-quality and as good as more renowned theatre companies.
