I hate going to the dentist and since moving to Bloomington for college way back in 1998, I have tried 13 dentists… so it is safe to say I am pick and wasn’t willing to settle for a place I didn’t love since I don’t love going (but I love my clean teeth).
Dr. Moore, Dr. Barco and the team at Create-​A-​Smile are wizards of customer service and teeth. While I still hate having my mouth open if it doesn’t involve food, talking, or something naughty, they make it as comfortable as possible. I went in for a routine cleaning yesterday morning — I had a nice text and email reminder the day before (perfect, I hate the call and never get it anyway), was greeted right away and taken back in less than five minutes (thank you — my time is valuable).
EVERYTHING is explained while it is happening, the office is clean, the staff is friendly, and I could zone out to the Today Show if I needed too during the awkwardness of being told to close my mouth around the suction tube. They offer treatments like fluoride to you instead of just doing them and my payment options, insurance, etc. were all explained in English.
Obligatory free tooth brush, floss, and tiny toothpaste included. If you are nervous about going in for dental work or a routine checkup, this is your place. If you aren’t, know that they will treat you well and you will not have to wait!
The office is clean and bright with lots of IU pictures and memorabilia (which is great since it is just down the street from Assembly Hall — GO HOOSIERS and FLOSS!)

This is the second time I have posted about dr Barco and his staff. They are very talented knowledgable and caring. They go over my treatment plan help me with insurance questions and deliver world class care. No reason to go any where else.
