I have been to this place once, in 2013. It’s a large store with plenty of used«discs» — whether it’s CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, video games, etc. The CD selection was better and deeper than I would have guessed it would be. When I made my purchases, the clerk used some of sort of cleaning machine on some of the CDs I bought. I don’t think he damaged anything, but that«courtesy» was not necessary! If you’re a fan of buying second-hand discs, this suburban store is worth a look.

When I walked in the door I felt at home. Their selection of records, retro games and other«geeky stuff» are insane! I had just been to New York on vacation to search for some records, and I see now that I just could have gone to discland. The staff and the atmosphere were top notch, and not too pushy(something I think alot of stores in the US are). Discland gotta be the best store of its kind that I have ever been to!

I used to come in here all the time to sell old games/movies/etc. I dropped in this last time and sold a few games, and got way less than I’ve ever gotten before. And one of the games was only a couple of months old. I doubt I’ll be back again to sell product here in the future.

For newer used video games, or vintage games, this is honestly as good as it gets. Awesome video game selection – seriously the best selection I’ve found for rare and/or out-of-print games. And they sell games and accessories for EVERY video game system, whether it’s still being made or not. Which makes it that much harder to get rid of my old Super Nintendo… A solid selection of CDs with a great used selection. And lets not forget the vinyl. Thank you, Discland, for still carrying good old LPs. Mmmm vinyl, delicious vinyl. This is also one of the few places I know of that still carries first avenue tickets without any kind of stupid add-on fee.

Discland is my go to spot when I’m looking for a funny, cool, or unique gift for a friend/family member. Or for myself too, naturally. I will say that a lot of the times I find myself wishing their prices were cheaper; but that never stops me from coming back. The staff are all super nice, chill people. All of whom I can imagine myself being friends with. Also, they always have great music on every time i’m in there. It’s refreshing to be able to browse around a place and listen to music that you actually enjoy. Overall a great place to go if you’re looking for typical(and sometimes A-Typical) headshop items… just… ya know… minus the smoking paraphernalia.

UNBELIEVABLEAMOUNTOFCOOLSTUFF! This is easily the biggest CD/DVD/GAME store I’ve ever seen! Prices are fair and the people are all SUPER-COOL and very helpful. I love goin’ there to kill an afternoon(except I always find tons of stuff I want). You only live once right?

Discland has a very large inventory of new/used media, game/clothing accessories, and novelties. The service can go either way; try to direct questions to the male staff in the store as the females seem to either be completely cracked out or irritatingly patronizing(matronizing?). Sometimes you’ll get a great deal, other times the price tag will take you aback. Basically, your millage may vary in all aspects. Hit or miss establishment.

This place has a great selection of cds, dvds, t shirts, and games. I like coming here when I randomly really want to own a movie. They will probably have it because their selection is large, granted they’re used movie but sometimes I feel they have more than Target or Best Buy. And it’s a plus that they have older movies too so I don’t have to order it online and wait. And, I found out that Discland sells tickets for First Ave! Which means you can bypass the $ 10+ fee that Ticket Master charges and don’t have to go directly to First Ave to do this. Though they only accept cash for tickets so make sure to bring some.
