Fountain Park Apartments

I lived at Fountain Park apartments from Aug 2013 — May 2015. I lived with 3 other roommates in a 2 BHK ground-​floor apartment without in-​house washer/​dryer.
Pros.:
* premises clean and healthy;
* (the few) maintenance issues are responded to quickly,
* lively atmosphere (great pizza nights, and thanks for the graduate farewell, and several other get-​togethers) all year round
* friendly, respectful residents and staff
* haven’t heard of any thefts aside from once when my Amazon parcel that was left on the door was tampered badly, though nothing was stolen
Cons.:
* It’s quite a walk from most of the inner apartments to the bus-​stop (but it’s common for most all other residencies)
I cannot think of any improvements that I could suggest them. They even have a good referral system and are quite prompt in delivering the reference bonuses. Highly recommended.

I have lived in Fountain Park since July 2011 and I have no complaints. We have a two bedroom, two bathroom first floor apartment in the new section of the complex. Our apartment is spacious and well maintained with a patio and convenient outdoor storage closet. Every interaction with management has been great, whenever I make a maintenance request it is handled promptly. I have enjoyed living here a great deal. It’s pet friendly, has a nice pool, and it’s quiet. We couldn’t ask for more, especially at such a reasonable price.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Not only are the apartments moldy and infested with insects, but they also have a number of other problems. The heating and air conditioning units rarely work. My dishwasher broke and leaked all over the kitchen and living areas. I could go on and on about this place, but the bottom line is DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.
On top of all the issues with the apartment, these people are THIEVES!!! At the end of my lease, I walked around with the lady checking me out of the unit and she assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the place. I am a very neat and clean person and she told me that she was very impressed with how neat the place was. When I was expected my security deposit back a month later, they gave me nothing back! They stated that they had to clean the unit and kept all the money! They also said I owed money on rent, when I did not. I have never missed a payment in my life. I am an honest person and I really don’t know how these people can live with themselves.
I went to clear the issue up and the head lady working in the leasing office was a complete B*&%#! She told me I was out of luck and had to get a lawyer. I am just a student and can’t afford an attorney for this kind of issue.
If you can help it, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE HORRIBLE BUSINESS PEOPLE!
