This company always seems to go above and beyond for its customers. Today, my car did not start after sitting for a few days and they told me to bring it on by for a test of the battery. I was in and out in just a few minutes and they were very honest, stating that I could either take care of the battery right away or wait a few weeks on it since it wasn’t urgent. I appreciate them always being up front and communicating, and they didn’t even charge me to take a look at the problem. I try not to take my car anywhere else!

Adam who manages the Normal location is great and Jason who is the regional manager and oversees several locations are reliable and trustworthy. Both are very personable and will even let you see the parts they have replaced so you know they were in need or repair or replacement. I have used Grease Monkey for regular oil changes as well as repairs such as brake pad and shock replacement. I would recommend them to anyone who wants reliable, fair auto service.

Based on recommendations from friends, I have been taking my vehicles to Grease Monkey since moving to Bloomington in 2009. A few months back I told them that I had a squeaking serpentine belt and asked them to change it. They claimed to do it, charged me for it and I was on my way. With a still squeaking belt. I naively hoped that this was normal for a new belt and let it be. Jump ahead a few months to a visit to Meineke. The service tech, upon hearing me explain my sudden loss of power stearing, shows me the rotted serpentine belt on my engine with the Kia factory stamp on it. Yeah. The one Grease Monkey claimed to change and charged me for not even six months past! Grease Monkey, you’ve definitely lost my business.

this is the best oil change business that i have been to yet! i have scoured all the corners of bloomington and have yet to encounter a more honest and straight forward staff that will not push you to get things you do not need.
