We have lived in these apartments for six months now, and we like it enough that we extended our lease until next summer. The complex is well taken care of, and I love that it is tucked into a very pretty forest area behind Wapehani lake. There are lots of trails and sidewalks, so that makes walking your furry friends very easy. The actual apartment is nice enough for the cost of rent, and the kitchen is huge and has recently been upgraded. The two bedroom model is spacious, but the storage space really sold it for us… there are seven closets inside the apartment(including two in each bedroom), and a pretty generous outside storage area off of our patio. There is also washer/dryer hookups inside the apartment which was a must for us as well. The cons to these apartments are not life-shattering in the slightest, but more of minor annoyances. It gets awfully dark in the complex at night, and I wish there were a few more street lights around. We have never had any safety issues, but other areas of Bloomington have and it makes me a bit nervous. It is also a bit tedious to have to drive through another complex(Oakdale Square) to get to our apartment, but that is because the other complex has huge speed bumps and several potholes to drive around. Overall, we like living here. We shopped around for other apartments before deciding to resign our lease here, and nothing came nearly as close as these. The rent did rise about $ 20 is dollars a month recently, but I feel like all of the amenities and services make up for it. Although living in an apartment will always have its drawbacks, living here makes up for that.
