I came in to fix a flat tire expecting to pay $ 100+ and wait couple hours or get my car back the next day. Ended up paying $ 40 to replace my tire for a used one in 45 minutes. Great deal if you’re a grad student on the run. Will definitely come back if I need any future auto service!

High Speed Tire is truly a Bloomington treasure. No where else can you find mom and pop service AND ridiculously cheap services. I came in with a tire in bad bad shape — 2 nails and other tears — and they only charged me $ 15! I couldn’t believe it! Then my synthetic oil change, which has cost me anywhere from $ 65-​$ 90 dollars in the past at other places was $ 40 here! I can’t recommend enough. They are always courteous, service my car quickly, and I can guarantee they’ll be my go to place as long as I’m in Bloomington!

The guys at High Speed are the best! Last time I had car issues the Honda place quoted me $ 700 and High Speed ended up telling me which work was actually necessary and did it for less than $ 200. This morning my car wouldn’t start and once I finally got it jumped and over to them it was 15 minutes before they were closing. They helped me anyway, tested my battery/​alternator/​etc, had my battery in stock, and I was all fixed up and out of there in about 10 minutes.
If you want a fancy waiting room where you can watch TV while your car gets unnecessary and expensive work, go elsewhere. If you want honest people who will tell you which repairs are truly needed and go out of their way to help you out, go to High Speed. Highly recommended. A+++

I came in with a problem with my front right passenger mirror. The mirror was disconnected with its holder/​container and was dangling a little bit. It turned out to be an easy fix and in less than 10 minutes they popped the mirror back into place. I went to pay and they refused to let me! When I asked if he was sure he said, «are you kidding? get out of here! have a nice day.» Nothing like free, quality service!

Nail in a tire a day before driving to Texas. They had me patched up and back out in 30 minutes and for only $ 15. I’m glad I listened to my coworker and headed there!

My office is close to this place so when I took my lunch break and saw I had a tire going flat I took my car to High Speed. Normally I do business with another local tire dealer but my tire was too low to get me to my regular place. High Speed told me they would call me with an estimate but unfortunately my tire was too damaged to repair and had to be replaced. I told them I was on a tight budget and to give me the best price they could. My car is a sports car so tires are always expensive. High Speed was able to get me a brand name tire for a really reasonable price. Now that I’ve had a chance to compare prices for that same tire at other tire dealers I realize how awesome their pricing really is. Every place else in town has the very same tire for at least $ 30-​$ 40 more. I’m going back later this month to have more work done. And not only did they give me the best price in town they were super nice to me.

This is the only place to get automotive repairs done. I have been going to High Speed Tire for many years and always leave knowing the work was done right. It doesn’t matter if you are male, female, young or old. They will treat you with the utmost respect.

I had a bad experience once at Firestone with the same problem and left there with a hefty bill. I’ll never make that mistake again. These are honest mechanics, don’t hesitate.
