Wasn’t very good at all. I couldn’t even chew it. Wasn’t what I expected at all. I’m hoping I don’t get sick from it. And I will not be going back there. I highly recommend you don’t waste your money on this terrible quality of food.

The food here was really not that good. It was old, had no flavor and the buffet is behind a counter so you can’t control the portions of food you get. It was a little irritating because I had to throw away a large amount of food and I don’t like to waste but I didn’t have much choice. In my opinion you should pass this place up, there’s many other places to get chinese food that would be better.

I’m a regular at this place, but after trying different dishes I only go back for the dry chili chicken.
Everything else has the same taste and slimy starch thickened texture. That said, I understand the bad reviews.
Get the dry chili chicken with white rice! And get it when it’s on their $ 4.99 lunch special.

I went for a late lunch and it was awful. Everything on my plate was soggy, broccoli carrots etc and beef not flavored correctly. Avoid if possible!

The food ordered was hot and tasted very good. I didnt know what to expect when i walked in and the already prepared food just kind of turned me off at the counter. Any place i go to that has food prepared like that at the counter and they just stand and stir it under heat lamps just doesnt look appetizing to me. The dishes might taste good but i would rather order my food fresh and wait for it. I can say there was great service and the place was clean. I will go back.

This is a go to eatery for great food! My daughter prefers this to all others in town. I usually get the chili chicken with some rice and an egg roll, she gets the orange chicken. The pineapple chicken is also very good and the sweet Chicago chicken (I think with jalapeños) is great too!

I really don’t understand the lack luster reviews! I love this place. I’ve eaten Chinese in 40+ States and a number of different countries… everytime I’m in Bloomington/Normal, I come here. Their crab rangoon is the best in the US. Seriously! Their General Tso is solid! Love the egg rolls. I know that preferences are individual, so I would highly recommend this place. I love it!

They are very rude. I called to place a delivery order and was charged more than what they advertise on their website. They also hung up on me when I tried to ask why the prices are more than their website. (They didn’t hang up once but thrice). I called back to cancel my order and was hung up on!) I will NOT order from this place ever again!

Of all the chinese food places in town I have tried, this place is tops for good quick takeout! I have gone out of my way to get the food here. All of the food Ive tried has been good and the portion sizes are good for the money. The overhead menu only shows a fraction of the food they make so try something NOT in the warming pans and they make it fresh. This place has the best crab rangoon in Bloomington and the sauces on their dishes dont have that typical funky chinese food flavor. Ive become a regular there and i am always greeted warmly.

For very quick Chinese, this place is great. No, this isn’t a sit down dinner place. No, this is not authentic at all. No, this is not your typical Chinese restaurant. This is your lunch place, your hungover, your fast and cheap Chinese food. They have awesome crab rangoon and give you large portions of food. This place in in a strip mall next to Party City, what did you really suspect.

Oops… I thought the sign said something about «dim sum buffet» — THERE IS NO DIM SUM HERE.
This is fast food, airport/shopping mall style. You get a huge helping (I actually asked the girl to STOP filling my plate) of stuff. I got the shrimp fried rice stuff, and the spicy chicken stuff, and some other stuff.
There are lots of booths around so you can eat your stuff.
It’s cheap, fast, and bless you if you can finish it.

This place is okay in my book because it is fast, cheap, and I have never left hungry. No, it’s not the best Chinese food I have ever had, but it serves a definite purpose in my list of places to eat. I usually get the beef with broccoli or the twice cooked pork and both are pretty consistently cooked and tasty.

Average crap bland greasy fast food Chinese for reasonable (not cheap) prices. Massive portion sizes will make you fall asleep at your desk. Minimal spice, so if you are sensitive to spicy stuff, you may confidently order away.
Their menus on the back wall/counter are needlessly vague and generally without prices. I have been there half a dozen times and I still don’t really understand what is a combo, what is a lunch special, or whether there is really a difference, other than one nets average crab rangoons. Just pick something, and get what you want with it. If its lunch time, you will likely spend less than $ 10. They might pack your ‘for here’ items in a to go package. They might tell you to sit down and they will deliver your food — but no napkins or plastic forks.
Reading all of the above, it is easy to understand why this place gets one star. It is not easy to understand why I keep going back, however.

I really like this place for SUPER FAST chinese food! I dont even call till I am ½ way there because of how fast it is. They usually say it will be ready in 5 – 10 min! It is one of two places I regularly go to for fast food.
I dont really know what happened to the ones that didnt like it but I have NEVER had a bad meal here!

The first reviewers comment about the rice was right on. I’ve never gotten so much rice with an order. The meat options I got also had a strange taste, and the ample rice was not even very good. The food is not prepared to order, but rather sits in heating trays waiting for some one to order it. It’s flavor reflects its treatment.
Service was confused at best, unfriendly as worst. I tried to order from the menu but the basically ignored my order and just gave me the rice with two items.
I came here for dinner and the restaurant had two other people in the entire place.
Prices are on the high side which surprised me considering the location, service and quality.
