They have done a lot of work around the stadium and it it really nice. Great place to tailgate on a fall afternoon on one of the nicest campuses in the country. The actual Football has gotten a lot better as well.

Hope springs eternal every year. Usually sub-par football, but top shelf tailgating!!! Fun for the whole family, very friendly and a super nice area of Indiana to visit in the Fall. Go IU! Someday maybe. But until then, tailgate with plenty of Hoosier pride!

IU football isn’t anything to write home about, but the tailgaters(half of which don’t make it to the game) will have you thinking otherwise! The stadium has close parking and ample seating. I went to an IU event in the banquet hall that overlooks the stadium across from the score board. There was a beautiful and spacious balcony and an inside area to brace the fall cold. Overall, not an exciting venue, simply a nice addition to the campus environment. There’s nothing drawing me back to the stadium. Until you offer me a drink =)

IU football –not so much. IU tailgating — yes indeed! The atmosphere at IU Memorial Stadium is perfect for tailgating. Fall colors and trees are gorgeous. The fans LOVE tailgating. Everyone is friendly and loves to share stories, food, or libations. The parking is right across the street and you can leave the game if perhaps the game becomes a blowout. Nice price for kids tickets and room for setting up games and tables for larger groups. No matter if it is an early game or afternoon expect a full lot of tailgaters so plan to arrive at least a few hours before game time if traveling with a group.

IU certainly knows how to have fun! We catch a game every year and spend the day tailgating and then catch the game. The area has plentiful well laid out tailgating places. The fans of both sides are awesome and fun is had by all. The stadium is nicely laid out and clean. The layout and size are great and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. Unfortunately…In the las 4 years we have been going we haven’t been able to see IU win :(

Wow! Having no IU pride whatsoever or knowledge of the school, I thoroughly enjoyed going to a football game, visiting the town, and the campus. Beautiful! Great people and school pride. No real«tips» here. Set-up a kick ass tailgate and bring lawn chairs and games and enjoy and go IU!
