My son has an extra bone in 1 of his big toes. I took him to see Dr. Powers to make sure everything was ok as he is starting HS and will be running CC. Staff was very professional and friendly. Lobby is very comfortable. Dr. Powers was great. He even trimmed the toenail which can be problematic. Best trip of our week. Thanks to everyone at the office! Eric.

This guy must have received his degree from a vending machine. Absolutely, positively the worst doctor i have ever met in my life. I went in for simple ingrown toenail removal on two toes. A giant mistake. I was uncomfortable with his initial demeanor but followed his instructions after the surgery. Infection and pain was awful. I contacted his office with my concerns that something was very wrong and felt i had an emergency of sorts. They told me the soonest they could help me was in 2 weeks. Really??? I have been healthy my entire life and this «doctor» ruined my health. I went to the VA hospital because I was in need of immediate help. They told me almost everything Powers had me doing for post surgery care was wrong. I also found out that the VA hospital has a very extensive record about Powers and he is listed on their database as a doctor they will NEVER refer anyone to. Do your research and stay away from him!

We made an appointment with Dr Powers for my wife at their Bedford location. When we drove down there from Bloomington, we were told that they did not have our information and that our appointment was earlier that day; it was not. We rescheduled the appointment for the next week and we arrived just on time. As soon as we arrived, we let them know that we need to fill out some paperwork; they said ok. They waited fifteen minutes to get back to us and said we should have arrived fifteen minutes earlier to do the paperwork. We told them we have been waiting there for that amount of time and if they gave us the paperwork, we could have done by now. They wanted us to come back another time. So that meant two trips for us half an hour drive each way wasted. I do not think they need any more patients because they just don’t care. They could easily see us in both of those occasions. We do not recommend Dr Powers based on our experience.

I won’t be going back to this guy. I wasn’t impressed with him. He has the personality of a goldfish!
