I love the hot dog stand I downtown Bloomington (especially after I’ve had 7 or 10 drinks). Service is always quick and he’s always pretty friendly. Added bonus the hot dogs are actually pretty damn good.
Can usually find him on any given Friday/​Saturday while the college students are in session.

The Hotdog Man only appears at this location during mild weather months, especially while college is still in session. He will park a van in the lot across from Mulligan’s/Daddio’s/Killarney’s and set up a hotdog stand. His specialty is Chicago style dogs, but he also has sausage. If I remember correctly, a hotdog only costs $ 2.50 and he’s pretty quick so don’t worry if there’s a line. He’s also very nice so make sure to use the tip jar that he puts out.
This is great late night food — also check out Flinger’s pizza if that’s more your craving.
