It’s not really the best Chinese I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely pretty good, not to mention cheap, and the delivery is free. Plus, they’re open late on the weekends. What’s not to love?

I ordered their Hunan chicken delivery before, they taste well, but apparently not very traditional Chinese restaurant, the price is low, and delivery is very fast

Well I pains me to give one stars but there are just a lot of bad restaurants out there. I’ve not had flavorless Chinese food before, but I did tonight. At least it was way too greasy. ***sigh*** Had to season the food myself to get some kind of «feeling» of satiation. Cmon how are you gonna serve flavorless food? That’s just ridiculous. I’m not exaggerating.

You know when you are having one of those days that you just want to go home, get in your jammies, and order in Chinese takeout? This is the place for that.

Really bad food. Bland, tasteless, I got an entrée for $ 11 I wouldn’t even pay $ 3 for. You could make better for free at home. I also specially mentioned no tofu, but I got a lot of that! I payed an extra $ 1 for mushrooms, they gave me 1 chopped up piece. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

As far as Chinese delivery in Bloomington goes, this is the first time I’ve ordered from Peach Garden. I’ve had multiple disappointments from Fortune Cookie and House of Hunan(as I’m sure everyone has) but over time I learned what was and wasn’t safe to order from each. However after trying Peach Garden for the first time, I can confidently say that although it won’t blow away high expectations, it is definitely the best Chinese delivery in Bloomington.(Note, lucky express does not deliver) It’s quite clear that the quality of the meat at and the vegetables are higher than those found at House of Hunan and Fortune Cookie. The portion was very generous as well. One thing I might add is that my delivery did not come with forks or chopsticks, so you make sure you ask for some if you’re broke and have no utensils as I’ve been during many points of my college career. All in all, Chinese food delivery here in Bloomington that finally doesn’t disappoint, and might I add they gave me free delivery!

This place is my go to when I want a better quality of take out Chinese food. We are fans of Egg Fou Yong(I know it is not«Authentic»…) and they make the best in town. We also had Pork with vegetables(great!) and Pork fried rice. Teriyaki Chicken is also good. The place is kinda fickle, as they said they«were too busy» to cook egg fou yong for me on a Friday night. When I arrived to pick up my food, they said they could now cook fou yong for me so I waited and got a fresh order. I have 2 other chinese places closer to me and they both are lousy so I go here. Just a step up in my opinion!

The service was absolutely horrible. It took 2.5 hours after I ordered for me to receive my food. When I actually got my food the rice was so burnt that I couldn’t finish my meal and the food was cold. I will never order from here again. I can’t believe I actually paid for this meal/service.

The food is delicious! It is light and doesn’t have a ton of sauce drowning the vegetables and meat. We have tried many Chinese restaurants and this was one of the best. The portions are just right and they don’t overload you with rice. Most of the dishes actually taste more authentic than most American Chinese restaurants. The traditional dishes taste authentic and it is nice to not have the fried flavor in dishes it has no place being. The actual restaurant is a bit small but, they are very friendly. The delivery is fast and doesn’t cost anything additional which is nice.

All of the dishes were the same shade of bland. Even the rice tasted cheap. I won’t order from here again.

Well… for the most part, the food was just… bad, honestly. The first time I got vegetable lo mien and sweet and sour chicken; the vegetable lo mien tasted like burnt oil and the sweet and sour chicken was weirdly dry and tough. The crab rangoons were OK. I thought maybe they were having an off day so I gave it another shot and it was actually worse. The chicken teriyaki I got was mostly gristle and fat! I will say that the guy who delivered was friendly and the delivery was decently fast, but that definitely doesn’t make up for the food quality, especially for the price. Unfortunately based on my experience I would absolutely not recommend the restaurant. :(

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Bloomington. The staff is very friendly every time I’m there, and they have the absolute best hot and sour soup in Bloomington. I’ve been getting Peach Garden delivered for years and have never had a bad experience. Their only downside is a slightly odd location if you’re dining in or picking up — it’s essentially in the back of Kroger, more or less in the loading dock.

Exceptionally poor handicapped access. Some of the food was just okay, some not. General’s chicken and sesame chicken way too crispy for our taste. A little over priced for the quality and portion sizes. Only really good thing was the server. Won’t go back.

This may not be the best Chinese food in the world, but so far they are some of the best Chinese delivery that I have found in Bloomington! The food is decent, and they deliver quickly. They are dependable, as my friends and I have ordered from them many times and they always have the same quality. I’ve never been in the actual restaurant, so I can’t really speak for cleanliness, but the food is great so I try not to think about it too much! They are a little on the pricey side, but I would pay that extra to know that I’m getting something good, unlike a few of the other Chinese places in town.

After being a patron for 5 years, I discovered there are new owners and interpretations of chinese food. I ordered the General Tso chicken and fried rice and was deeply disappointed. Basically what you get is deep fried chicken nuggets, which, in my opinion, taste like flavorless rocks, drenched in your generic brand sweet and sour sauce and two slices of celery. The fried rice was bland, with nothing else –no onions, or peas, just bland rice. I spoke to the server and he said that is how they cook it now –can you say improve the profit margin, regardless of how it taste. Bottom line, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with healthy tastebuds. I won’t be back!

After a few recommendations, I had Peach Garden for the first time last night. This was my first Chinese takeout since moving to Bloomington last June. I wasn’t disappointed! Delivery was quick — it took about 30 minutes. The delivery guy was friendly. I’m a sucker for Americanized Chinese food, so I won’t lie to you and say I ordered anything authentically Chinese. ;) I had the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. I had no complaints about anything at all — it was good and arrived hot. I’ll definitely be ordering again in the future.

I venture to say that this is the best Chinese takeout in Bloomington. Don’t let the location fool you. This is a major hidden gem on the south side.

I’ve had Peach Garden quite a few times now, and I have a few favorites that have been consistently delicious. Orange chicken. Yum. Shanghai vermicelli. Yes, please. I prefer their spring rolls over the egg rolls. Delivery is quick too!

EXCELLENTSERVICE! Best Chinese Food in town by far. I’ve eaten at all of them and I say with confidence that this little hole in the wall is delicious and worth the money. It’s not expensive and the service is always kind to me. The location kind of sucks but the food makes up for it and so do the people who work there. Thanks Peach Garden!
