Pizza Hut

I stopped ordering from Pizza Hut when they changed the password requirements to be more stringent than my bank, brokerage firm and credit card issuers. I never knew pepperoni required such security! Oh well, I’m sure the competitors appreciate my business. It’s sad because Pizza Hut was my favorite pizza.

First of all let me say that I generally enjoy the pizza that is offered by Pizza Hut. Particularly the pepperoni and the meat lover’s pizzas. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to have the side order of bone out buffalo party wings and waffle fries. In the image on the site, they looked just fantastic and I thought would be a great mouth treat on a cold afternoon.
Let me tell you that I was really disappointed with the order. The waffle fries turned out to be an overcooked mess. They were too well done. Not burned. But not even golden brown and crisped. They were too crunchy. Made me long for a good old fashioned McDonalds french fry.
The buffalo wings sauce was just horrible. It was pungent and salty with no hint of what a traditional buffalo sauce should taste like. Their recipe is definitely not a keeper and should really consider a drastic change. The sauce flavor was so hard to get past that it was impossible to enjoy the flavor of the chicken inside. All I could taste was the sauce.
Long after the first few bites, I had to toss them away because it was a chore to eat them. The aftertaste was with me for about an hour and made me want to drink lots of water to try to eliminate the taste in my mouth.
I would skip the buffalo sauce if I were you.

Don’t know if they charge for dipping sauce. Ranch. But the driver had it in his pocket then told me it was a dollar. Sounds shady to me. Food wasn’t bad. Deliver was around 30 min. But come on.

I have ordered take out and delivery for this location a handful of times. I always get the stuffed crust pizza and ask for two sides of marinara and not once have they gotten my order right. It is very frustrating since the order is so simple. One time I ordered take out and I asked over the phone for two marinara and of course my order was wrong, I asked the clerk for another one and she smirked at me and told me she should be charging me for it! Are you kidding me, I asked for it in the first place! Never again…
