Pizza Ranch is fantastic. They brought us a cheese pizza because it was running low on the buffet. The food was all hot and delicious. The staff was amazing. All the kids working there were genuinely nice and they were so helpful. I can’t wait to to back to Pizza Ranch.

I was visiting family over the holiday and we came here for lunch. Busy busy busy. The staff does not mind you moving tables around to accommodate. The flow of the place is awful and people are constantly walking around you, dont go here for a quiet relaxing meal it’s not that type of restaurant. I will say if you have kids and are too hungry to wait for a typical sit and order then this place will be a blessing for you. It’s pretty much a help yourself type of place and I did not have much interaction with the staff, besides when you pay upon entering. The pizza buffet had a good variety with alot of interesting types of pizza. The pizza was refilled often so you did not have to wait long for fresh pizza. The fried chicken was the best part. Not sure why it’s at a pizza buffet but whatever, it was fantastic. The dessert bar was sooo good. There was a strawberry pizza and a cactus something that was so good and fresh. The soft served ice cream tasted like mcdonalds soft serve and was delightful. The place was clean and fed me, the pizza was what you would expect from a buffet, nothing special. Try the chicken and desserts.

We enjoy going to the pizza ranch with the kids from time to time and always enjoy the food. Never had a bad meal-very consistent. The buffet you’re way is great idea(they’ll bring you any kind d of pizza you like.). Not sure why all the low reviews. I your expecting a pizza soup salad fried chicken Buffett kinda place, it fits the bill exactly. End the meal with cactus bread, desert pizza, ice cream, and coffee. Glad to have a PR in Blono.

Take the kids or grand kids here, they will love it; then next weekend take yourself someplace else. Definitely a family place, lots of pizza, plenty of pop, even fried chicken and of course, desert pizza. The one cool thing was we were able to request a special pizza when we arrived, then when it was ready they brought it to our table so we could have the first pieces.

Gave it a year and tried it again. Still gross. Great place if you like buffets that boast quantity over quality.

Worst experience I’ve had in awhile… no workers anywhere to be found to order different pizza. The pizza they had made were old and cold. It’s been open for months yet everything is an unorganized mess. 3 different pops were out and no one knew how to replace it. Never never again!

My family and I went to pizza ranch for the first time and it was really good. The young woman up front was an amazing help and answered our question. We will definitely be back.

Sucks. Pizza was awful, French fries flying through the air from hordes of wild kids, and while it may have been a buffet, it was fairly pricey. Never again.

Too bad I can’t give this place zero stars. I dislike buffets generally but the kids wanted to try it, so I relented. 1. The layout is terrible. In order to exit the restaurant, you have to go thru the buffet line! How idiotic is that? The result is that you always have a crowd of people in and around the buffet. 2. The salad bar was sparse and dismal. Looked liked a tornado hit it. 3. The pizza was meh at best. I would put it on par with Casey’s pizza. The low quality cheese makes for a greasy mess of a pizza. They have at most 6 pizzas out at a time. 4. When we were there, the server cleared off our table once, and at a buffet seeing stacks of filthy dishes everywhere is an appetite killer(but to be fair, the food and patrons did that already). 5. And the patrons… its like all the local trailer parks and rural hellholes took a field trip to pizza ranch the day we were there. Enough said. Some good… the chicken noodle soup was good. The dessert pizza was surprisingly good as well. alas, soup and dessert pizza do not a good restaurant make, so one star only because zero stars isn’t an option.

I’m sad Pizza Ranch came to Blo-No. Maybe I do not enjoy the pizza because it is worse than Chicago Style Pizzeria, and they closed when PR came to town. The pizza has not been fresh either time I’ve been here during prime times, the pies have been doused in grease and make me feel awful. I wish I didn’t give them a second chance before writing this review. They do have two things going for them. They are the only pizza buffet I know of in Blo-No, and their unlimited cactus bread. But, the sub-par pizza is not worth $ 10 a plate. Disappointing pizza. I never thought I’d use that word in conjunction with pizza. –former pizza lover

I personally love their biscuits, mashed potatoes and chicken gravy the best! The chicken and pizza is also lovely too. I come here with my mom, dad, sister, and sometimes grandma. We have come when they were swamped, but we always got in and out just fine. I also noticed as another comment said that this place gives me the poops after 15 or 20 minutes… I hope this changes as everyone in the family got a Pizza Ranch gift card! Anyway, the place is kinda pricey and I wish they’d make it a bit more affordable. Maybe 8 dollars or so?

I tried pizza ranch onopening day and I really liked it. Tried it a second time and the biscuits on the buffet were still doughy and not cooked all the way. They took care of it and apologized profusely. I went a few weeks ago and it was slammed. I could barely move let alone sit comfortably at my table. The place made me sick this time. As in hot poops within 15 minutes. I really want to love it but, its going to be a while before I go back.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. I brought the family for lunch because it sounded like a fun place. First of all, the price. You pay before being seated. The cost for one six year old, one eight year old, and two adults is $ 40. Really?!? The layout of the restaurant is weird and there are constantly people walking everywhere. There is no flow to the place. The food. The pizza is dripping with grease and there is no plain cheese pizza for kids. All the choices have meat of some kind on them. The selection is also extremely small for a buffet. The salad bar is a complete joke and all the rest of the food that isn’t pizza IS deep fried. There are zero options for any kind of healthy meal. If you are curious about this place, I highly recommend you just drive on down the road to a decent restaurant. I never post reviews on Unilocal, but I also can’t remember the last time I felt this ripped off by a food joint. ****Update. I actually posted this review from inside the restaurant because I was so aggravated. To be fair, I will say that I shared my thoughts with the employees when they wished us a good day on the way out. The guy refunded me the cost of the meal.

You should have really good pizza if you call yourself Pizza Ranch. I should have know when someone at work said the chicken was the best part… it would not be good. If CICI’s had a cousin from Texas(that also charged double) it would be Pizza Ranch. $ 25.00 for two buffets & drinks… I wish I had my money back :(

Ehhhh. Not a huge selection. Pizza was bland and dry. There are better buffets in Blo-No, and definitely better pizza. Upside? Decently affordable, staff was nice, and I got really, really full.

I was skeptical of eating here after reading the previous reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway. This review is for the BUFFET. 11am-2pm or 5pm — 8pm. We went for lunch yesterday at the buffet and we had to wait 10 minutes to get in(Not a problem, we were expecting this as it was full when we pulled in) and pay. The staff is very friendly and it was clean. The food on the buffet was fresh and hot. It helped that it was packed in there, so the food rotation was great. Let’s be honest, this pizza isn’t winning any culinary awards, but for the price; it’s worth it. The salad bar looked decent, the pizza was good and hot, but the star of the show is their fried chicken! Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in awhile. I enjoyed that the whole price is $ 10.00 per person, DRINKINCLUDED. I gave it a 4 out of 5. Like I said, the pizza is good — not great — but the chicken makes it worth it. They have a dessert bar as well. If you’re looking for high quality pizza, stick to Joe’s or somewhere else. This place is designed for people who want to eat a lot of food for a cheap price. If you enjoy fried chicken, give it a try.

Going into this I was expecting this to be great or at the least very good because there was much hype of this restaurant leading up to. Afterwards i would have to honestly say I was very underwhelmed with Pizza Ranch. Let’s start with the building its nice, clean, it’s a new building that was built specifically for Pizza ranch so i was expecting that. BUT the building looks big on the outside the inside is relatively small in comparison to how big it looks on the outside and in comparison to other buffet restaurants in the area. The price: Our wait in line wasn’t very long the price for myself, my wife and my 3 year old was $ 27 and some change :-/ Buffet area: very small from what you would expect from such a large looking establishment from the outside. the selection is also minimal. salad bar, fried chicken, fried chicken with buffalo sauce. biscuits, carrots, 4 versions of potatoes(mashed, waffle fries, chips, steak fries) and about 5 different flavored pizzas and dessert pizza and a vanilla ice-cream machine that’s pretty much it. Taste: the food was good i guess, it wasn’t great so just okay. Not much to choose from and nothing that made me feel like $ 12 a person was worth it. Overall: as i said in the beginning with so much hype i was expecting lot more from pizza ranch. its small on the inside. the food was okay not anything that would make me want to visit again. and the selection is not up to par with other buffets in the area that are a little cheaper and have a wider selection and better food. i think after the«newness» calms down and everyone tries it for the first time then it won’t be much traffic here. but that’s just my opinion. *side note* the dessert pizza is great!

I have to admit there is a lot of hype over something that I was personally very underwhelmed over. When you first arrive you are aware that you will have to wait. The lines are very long even if you arrive early, but move pretty fast. We arrived at 4:45 pm and were in line 15 minutes for a group of 5. You pay before you eat and the drink is included with the buffet. Everyone in our group had the buffet and our total bill was about $ 60. They have a Self Serve Drinks; Salad Bar; Chicken, veggies, rolls and mashed potatoes bar; a pizza bar; and desert bar. With all the options they have available there is something for everyone. I will break it down a little more, per bar, as it was when we visited. The drinks are pretty self explanatory, coffee and soda are available. They have Gold Peak tea, which I love personally. The Salad Bar: It is a very sparse salad bar. There is really just the minimum; salad, about 4 veggies, eggs, and cheese, dressing, pudding, bacon bits, sunflower seeds and croutons. They had two soups available. I had the potato and it was the best thing about the salad bar in my opinion. Chicken: When we went all the fried chicken was burnt. They also have a BBQ and buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken was pretty good, and even though the chicken was burnt it was very moist and otherwise had pretty good flavor. You need to get the ranch from the salad bar. The rolls are very good; the corn is really, really good; the mashed potatoes and gravy were ok but nothing outstanding. Pizza: I really expected more variety. I am aware that they have a ‘you want it, we make it, and deliver to your table’ policy… If you are not with a patient group however that is not something you can do. I thought the Tuscan pizza was very good, the buffalo chicken pizza was very good, the garlic pizza was very good, the breadsticks were very good but had something spicy on it like red pepper. Dessert: There are several types of dessert pizza. There was apple, cherry, looked like blackberry at one time, peach, and cactus bread. I had the peach and the cactus bread which is basically cinnamon with icing. I really enjoyed the peach and I am not fond of peach at most places. They have vanilla ice cream. It was actually really good creamy ice cream. So to summarize the whole trip… I thought the food was good, others in my family were unimpressed and do not plan to return which is unfortunate.
