I stopped by Rhett yesterday because I needed some new parts for my short board and because I wanted some savvy skate shop advice on a few things.
I have been to the other skate shop in town before (Amused Clothing), but really I see it as more of a head shop and used clothing store than a true skate shop. So it was nice to see Rhett Skateboarding open up as another purely skateboarding shop in the wake of RISE closing down.
Truly Rhett gets 5 stars for service, and I certainly can’t complain about the variety of products on hand. Of course they just opened up so I can’t give them an overall 5 stars right away since there is plenty of room to mature and grow into a completely awesome shop. I am confident that things will come along nicely as they settle into their groove and continue to do their part for the Bloomington community.
