Hello, I just went to this smoking shop/​hookah lounge in Normal Il for help and advice on obtaining a new dripper for my vape. Upon entering the store I noticed that it seemed to be busy. It was concerning that I might not be able to get the attention I was looking for but quickly found that this was not the case. Even as the employees were helping others they still instantly found time to greet and ask me what I needed. I told them what I was in for and I was helped by an extremely knowledgable man named Eric. He was quick to share his knowledge with me and I was pleasantly surprised that he took a considerable amount of time helping me. He proceeded to show me my options, when doing so he was truthful with what would be my best choice and did not try and upsell me at all. Eric mentioned that he works there as a second job, as it is his pleasure to work with vaping equipment and help out vapers and the vape community, which I applaud. He wrapped my coils for me and got me all set to start dripping immediately. I have been to many vape shops and I can say that my experience here was the most enjoyable by far. The prices were extremely reasonable and the selection was exceptional. I am thankful to have found this gem of a store. I would highly recommend to friends and members of the community.

Never buy anything from here. They don’t tell you no exchanges, no returns and no refunds. I bought a tank for my vaporizer from here and it was faulty. They refused to do ANYTHING about it. I went to Tobacco Discount Warehouse on Oakland St. I showed those men what I had. I didn’t even buy the tank there but they took it apart and ficed it at no charge AND apologized for bad service and attitude at The Smokers Den. Why buy anything here if they don“t stand buy what they sell? I personally don“t need that hassle.

A few years ago I was visiting Bloomington and heard about this place from a girl who worked at a store in the mall. I has always wanted to try a hookah but there were no hookah bars in my hometown and I didn’t want to buy one without trying it first. I went to the lounge but couldn’t stay long that day. The employees were helpful with explaining things to me and helping me get started. I ended up going back two days later and spending a couple of hours there. They are not skimpy on the shisha at all and they are very nice there. I also ended up buying a hookah and some shisha from them.
Cons: the atmosphere is a little «seedyish» looking. More like back alley dive bar than lounge. It could certainly use an updating and maybe some couches and comfortable chairs. This is the type of place that they WANT people to stick around for a while and spend money on bowls. The only other problem I had with them is that the hookah I bought for them broke less than 6 months after I bought it. I ended up having to buy a better quality hookah. I suppose that old saying of «you get what you pay for» is very true. I would not recommend buying a hookah from them, but definitely go in for a bowl. Go in for two bowls if they get more comfortable seating.

Great selection of tobacco and glass. Staff was helpful with selection of hookah tobacco. Hookah lounge was not very ‘lounge-​ish’. When I think of a lounge I think of a dim lit area with couches and chill music. The lounge was outfitted with fast food type booths and chairs and dmx blasting.
Lack of lounge atmosphere aside, smokers den is a solid standby for tobacco products.

I walked in to buy my first vaporizer, I stood there for five minutes without anyone asking if I needed any help, nothing. I get it if the store was busy. But they really weren’t busy. I’ve worked in the service industry if you a customer walks in even if you are busy you acknowledge them. Say hi, I’ll be right with you as soon as you can.
Guess I’ll be buying my first vaporizer online and not giving this place another chance.
