If I had to name the top three restaurants in Bloomington with the friendliest, most honest, and genuine service, this one would absolutely make the cut. Sweet, self-named «Grandma» was delighted to host us in this cute, downstairs café complete with antique coffee bean dispensers, 1980s fridge in the corner, and big, bulky TV showcasing the news. They offered all sorts of drinks, from personalized coffee, milkshakes, drinks from the soda fountain, to all bottled drinks in the cooler like Yoo-hoo. Fresh made cookies baked every morning and homemade soup from Grandma. I wouldn’t come if you’re in a hurry! Take your time here. You’ll enjoy every minute.

This place is in the basement level of the showers plaza on the square. Take a tip for me and have the salmon sandwich it’s delicious!

Too little love for what is probably Bloomington’s best study spot. Super-sekrit location, decent coffee drinks, delicious chicken salad. Been going here since the 90s and luckily no one still has any idea it’s here.

Great people, service and atmosphere. They have always remembered me and been kind and friendly. They are always willing to accommodate to your wants and needs and make your order just the way you like. They also cater for events, which is awesome!

strange location for this place, in the basement of a shopping center. I got some coffee here, but they have a ton of other bottled drinks, snacks, even free wi-fi.

We went to Stefano’s upon arriving in Bloomington from Milwaukee. The smiling owner greeted us warmly and made mugs of cappuccino that tasted very much like the café con leche I remember in Spain. We also had a delicious pastry that was filled with apricot. We liked it all so much that we went back another time for the exact same treat! Wish we had been able to sample some of the sandwiches on their interesting menu.
