Once you find this hidden treasure, you’ll definitely want to return. This is the kind of place where locals frequent and have their own special mugs. I went for trivia and at one point I was laughing so hard I could have cried! Some regulars are seemingly very competitive, but others are truly just there to have a good time. There are TVs, but it’s quiet enough to be able to have a real conversation with someone you came with or even with someone at another table. I loved when the regular goers greeted another when he walked in the door! Brad is a great host of trivia and I definitely recommend going Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Noble Roman’s is right next door and your food will come from there. Seeing that this is a little pub, it was astounding how large the beer selection is!

You can tell this place is a labor of love for the owners. The owners and the staff are really friendly. Good prices and decent beer selection. Talkers is a perfect name for the place, you might actually talk to someone here instead of yelling over loud music. When I think of going downtown to grab a beer I just get tired thinking of finding a parking spot and a quiet place and end up at talkers instead lol

I love this tiny spot for a brew. Just found it recently but have been in three times. Small and cosy with the family and friendly feel you get in a village pub in England where the pub serves as everyone’s living room for visiting, a sort of community parlor, not merely a place to get a drink. There are clearly some regulars here and it is personal with very pleasant service and a nice range of drinks, plenty of variety on tap. They have a Trivia night Wednesdays which I am looking forward to getting to some week. I enjoyed the chili cook off samples one evening and live music another. I have never gotten into any bar scene in the States, truly very little anywhere, but I plan to keep dropping by this comfortable place.

Came with the boyfriend tonight. Decent tap macro/micro draftselection, beer was a little warm. Friendly bartender — hillbilly sports bar décor. Definitely a step up from Highland but doesn’t quite have any charm to its dirtiness — seems to be the branding west side bars go for.
