Love this place. My kids have been out of cloth diapers for a few years but used to cruise in for the best in organic baby everything. Now I just enjoy buying holiday gifts for friends.

Stellar source for all things related to cloth diapering from diapers to inserts to detergents to wipes. I wish they posted the prices for the cloth diapers on the rack. It’s a little tricky to find this pretty important information. They have a good selection of brands and knowledgeable staff. I took a cloth diapering workshop at the shop, which was helpful in considering the different options. They relatively recently expanded their selection of green and classic wooden toys, and it’s nice to have somewhere locally to buy children’s gifts that isn’t a big box store.

I have shopped The Green Nursery at both their brick & mortar and their online store– again and again! When I entered their B&M, I was immediately assisted by the owner. He was friendly, offered options, answered questions, and gave his opinion as a guy(since I was shopping without my husband). He was polite, easy to talk to, and really well informed. The store was clean, well-organized, and the shelves were FULL of wonderful products. I have since moved just far enough away to make sure I can’t visit their B&M. Problem? Nope! They have a wonderful website which I now utilize. I love that I can read reviews from other parents! I also love their online rewards program which has saved me quite a good bit of money. Free shipping is offered and I’ve only had slow shipping one time(which was a result of the postal service, it quickly left their store). My products always show up in great shape, never any concerns that something is missing. If that’s not great enough, check out their facebook page for frequent deals and coupon codes! I highly(and frequently) recommend The Green Nursery to friends and family, local and far away, alike.

this is a review of the website and not the stone and mortar store. Sadly, I don’t live close enough. What I can say is that the Green Nursery has a great selection of eco friendly products, wonderful customer service(as good as it gets, probably even better than that :)) with a live chat option on their website and knowledgeable people to help you. The rewards program is really good too. All in all, it’s a great place to shop.

A true mom and pop store offering ecological options of supplies for pregnancy and babies. When my boyfriend and I visited, we were really just checking things out without too much of a clear idea of what we wanted at all, but with the idea that it would be nice to do it up naturally. When we were there, one of the owners, a thirty-something father, was really helpful without being in the way. We perused the store and when we had questions about the vast variety of cloth diaper options, we got a complete rundown from the owner about the pros and cons of each type. Super helpful– He wasn’t trying to push anything onto us, just helping us get a clearer idea of what’s out there and the merits of different sides. While it seemed too early on for us to purchase anything then, we’re definitely going back there and even plan on possibly setting up a registry through them. Their online store is just as complete as their regular store and they can ship to all over, so consider buying from them even from outside the Bloomington area!
