U-Haul of Bloomington

Rented a U-​Haul from this location more than once. Both times I have had a good experience. The last time I went in I had rented a 10ft Truck. When I arrived the guy asked me what I was hauling and I responded that I was hauling a couch and some things. He took me out and suggested that maybe I could use a van. It was cheaper and brand new. He could have easily rented me the one that cost more money but he was actually looking out for the customer.
The only thing they could improve on a little bit would be they customer service and how they talk to people. Other than that I think they’re great and would recommend to anyone.

I ordered a trailer to move some things to my home and this could have easily been the worse experience I have had with UHaul ever. First of all the service was really poor I drive a full size excursion and you have to hook the hitch to the trailer and the guys attitude about it was very poor. Then he goes in the building because he could not get the lights to work at all I go in the building and he has another guy go out who also could not get the lights to work so he comes back in the building to tell the manager who tells him and I QUOTE I CAN NOT RENT YOU THE TRAILER BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DINK AROUND WITH THE HITCH… WOW!!! SO I left and got a call from customer service asking me how come I have not picked up my rental I talked to the lady who was very nice and was trying to figure out what was going on. She comes back to the phone to ask me if I can come back in 30 mins and someone will take a look at it and see what is going on. I go back in 30 mins to wait another 20 mins customer service lady calls me again and ask have I got the trailer I told her I was still waiting for them to come out. So she offered me a truck I told her paying mileage on a truck is not an option so unless they are giving It me with no mileage but finally the man came out and said I need to buy a new hitch connector and then I can rent the trailer. the trailer was 29.99, 51.04 later I got a trailer. OK so now it is 3 weeks later and I have not been able to get them to release the hold they place for the rental so they have been holding 46.15 on my acct as well as them getting payment and every time I call I get the run around. It is so sad but I would never recommend them again… SO UNHAPPY
