Very sweet coffee shop with a creativity-inspiring laboratory vibe, run by the knowledgeable and charming Sam. I want to put this place on wheels so I can bring it everywhere.

This place just opened up about four weeks ago and we stopped by because we saw the bright yellow sign outside with amazing font. Caught our attention basically. Uel Zing Coffee is known for its cold brew which is sold locally at Bloomingfoods. They even sell bagged tea and coffee beans. My boyfriend and I went straight for the warmed cold brewed coffee because we wanted try cold brew coffee… but hot. Because it’s too damn cold in Bloomington to do otherwise. Anyway, the lady working the counter was really nice. They have wifi and tables so if you’re from IU and want to get some work done, this is a prime spot especially since it’s so brand now and not crowded! Would definitely come back here. Their coffee is as smooth and silky as they said it was. I could go for a cup right now. Love.

This place is wonderful. The guy who owns it really knows what he is doing and is very knowledgable. The coffee tastes great. I also really like the feel of the small space. It’s different than any other place in town. I really want this business to do well. I’m finishing my cup as I’m writing this and realizing that every sip just tastes better. Good job!

Had the chance to try the cold brew down in Nashville at the Uel Zing pop-up cart. Great stuff, cool bottle and one of the only cold brews that I’ve been able to enjoy black.

I love Sam’s coffee so much! My Saturday morning summer ritual always involves walking to his bike cart, getting two iced coffees(one for me and one for my husband) and two conks(jugs of coffee concentrate that you dilute with water, milk, whiskey, whatever) to get us through the week. It makes for a perfect Bloomington date(and is fun for visitors as well). Sam was properly trained at a fancypants coffee shop in NYC that takes their coffee super seriously. You can tell that he does too. Coffee is both an art and a science at Uel Zing. In addition to being able to purchase directly from the bike cart which he regularly rides through town(check his website or twitter feed for daily/weekly schedules, though he’s always posted up at the farmers market & makes regular stops on Kirkwood, at the library, etc), he also offers delivery, subscription services, pour over bars, etc. He works with a local roaster to bring you his epic cold brew, so when you support his local business, you’re supporting others as well. Give him a shot(or let him give you one) — you won’t regret it.

The best cold brew coffee in Bloomington! I will go out of my way to find Sam’s bright neon coffee cart! He has all sorts of awesome mix ins and the coffee is only $ 3! It is super strong and super smooth!

He calls the concentrate«Conk», but it might as well be crack. So glad that someone is doing justice to iced coffee and making an amazing cold brew. They’re opening up a shop, in addition to the cart, too. Wish I lived closer to downtown so I could partake regularly! Try it black first, you might surprise yourself. Don’t pollute it with stuff because it’s amazing and smooth on its own.

Sam is the nicest. And I have never had better iced coffee than his, and I’ve had a hell of a lot of glasses of iced coffee in my life. I somehow always find his sunshiney cart when I’m not even looking for it.(And of course also when I AM looking for it, thanks to his Facebook page). Both the coffee and my chats with Sam perk up my day. And he takes cards and listens to great cassette jams! Whatchoo waitin’ for? Hit him up!
