My friends and I eat here all the time and have to say that this is a very good, authentic Mexican restaurant and we really enjoy eating here! It is a small, family owned place that makes great food — I usually get a couple tacos and some chips & salsa. The chorizo and carne asada tacos are terrific, and my friends really like the lengua tacos. You can’t go wrong with much here!

Coming from the wife of a Texan(who grew up on good Mexican food), this is our favorite place in town! The food is consistently good and authentic. BEST guacamole in town. Perfect texture — slightly chunky, but still creamy, and always fresh. Get the steak tacos on corn tortillas w/cilantro & onions. You really only need a squirt of lime on those, but they’re also great with a schmear of guacamole and some of the creamy, green hot sauce. My husband always gets the steak burrito. I go back and forth between the steak tacos & chipotle chicken quesadillas on corn tortillas — great for those who have to eat gluten free! The atmosphere is nothing to shout about, but the food’s always great.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is your place. Nothing fancy, just good food. Their tacos– soft come in the double shell just like they do in Mexico. The flavored are authentic, the sauces have a nice amount of heat. This is a place where you find families and workers dropping in for good hearty food. The soups will fill you up without breaking the bank.

Some of the best tacos in town. Much more authentic and great flavor. Carne asada and al pastor are always a good choice. Beans and rice for the combo are average. Tacos, burritos and quesadilla are the way to go. Oh, and the avocado salsa rocks.

Very pleased to have found this place. Definitely try the sopes, some of the best that I’ve had, and be sure to get something with chorizo. Also a fan of pappusas being on the menu.

Being from Texas I like to think that I know good Mexican food. This place has street tacos that could easily compete with ones I have had back home. A must go for a fast simple delicious meal. My top pick for Mexican food is BloNo for sure.

Another good restaurant in the Blo No area that I really enjoyed. Small place limited seating and you order at the counter and then grab a seat. Prices are reasonable 8 bucks for 3 pollo tamales rice and beans and a drink. Service is fast they get the food out to you table in a very short time. The tamales were in corn husk or you could choose bananna leaves as well and were excellent. I traded one with my buddy for a El Pastor taco and it was awesome seasoned well with Cilantro and lime. This place is well worth a try and I will be back.

Good food. But it’s just a lunch counter. You order when you walk in and bus your own table when your done. Not that cheap either. But very good food, just don’t expect anything fancy.

Very clean restaurant, though a little hard to find in the shopping center. Food was excellent. Being from Texas I didn’t have high expectations, but the food definitely held its own. Extremely authentic and very good. I had the chorizo tacos, and they were very tasty – not oily like chorizo can be. Fajitas were fantastic, and my son devoured the huge burrito he ordered as well… we are leaving full and happy. We will be making the trip back.

It was a little hard to locate, but once I found it it was worth the effort! Carne asada tacos were awesome and their salsa in one of the best Ice found in the area… It has both glavor and heat. To top ot off, both literally and figuratively, they have three sauces: a red chili, a green chili, and an avocado one. All three are spicy and flavorful… I will definitly be back! Every customer that came in while I was there excrpt myself and one other person were Hispanic, which is a pretty good sign that the food it authentic. Service was friendly and quick.

This is a hidden gem. Pork tacos are excellent and any other taco! Chips and salsa are fresh and crispy. The workers are friendly and warm. Highly recommended.

I’ve tried almost every taqueria and American zed Mexican food joint in town and this is hands down my favorite. I just polished off a carne asada quesadilla that came with bell peppers and just the right amount of spice. They even entrust guests to grab as much fresh made salsa(which were signed and dated for freshness) as their meals require. I’ve also enjoyed chipotle chicken tacos here and the proportions of onion and cilantro are just right. I always end up with a bill around 6 dollars so I buy their $ 1 house-made tortilla upgrade to meet the $ 7 debit card minimum

I love this place. Great food here. The wait can be long during peak hours since the number of workers is smaller than a chain restaurant, but it is worth the wait.

I have tried them all, and Vera Cruz gets my vote for the Número Uno Mexican place in town. Authentic. Clean. And I always seem to be the only customer ordering in English – and that’s a great thing in my opinion! If the Mexican Americans all eat here, that ought to tell the rest of us something – that this place is legit. Yo quero, Vera Cruz.

Very yummy! I love their guacamole which is made fresh when you order it! Everything on their menu is great! My favorite is their Churrasco which is a good serving so skirt steak on a large homemade flour tortilla. They now serve breakfast and it was delicious they have your traditional american options plus Mexican option for breakfast.
