I have not been in a nail place for over five years. And this place impressed me so much that I will be coming back over & over again!!!

Fast and friendly service. Took it easy on the soak, scrub, and massage and that’s exactly what I needed for my pedicure. Only reason for not all five stars is because there was no music or ambience sound.

I called ahead and was all set for an appointment, which was smart — people who walked in were turned away. MAKEANAPPOINTMENT. I had a $ 32 mani/pedi, and for that price, in California, you get a pretty good hour+ relaxing experience. Not so much here. I think the whole thing took 45 minutes, which maybe is a perk. They cut corners. I’m a runner, and they didn’t address ATALL the torn off skin from an old blister on the bottom of my foot. Among other things. Quick on my toes = EXCRUCIATINGLY painful. In the mani and pedi: there was no real(traditional) quick foot/leg lotion/oil massage. It was super disappointing. I don’t know if I’ll go back, to tell you the truth. Super disappointing.

Got a mani/pedi here right before a sorority sister’s wedding. Great massage chair, complete pedicure, perfectly done manicure. Great service. Quick and painless. Great downtown location near courthouse. No complaints. Mani/pedi lasted an entire month with no chips :)

I went to VIP when I could not get in at Maisunami hoping that it would be a good place to its credit there are the following positives: 1. Clean 2. No Wait 3. Shellac selection The following are the negatives: 1. Limited new polish selection(new OPI collections no where to be found) 2. Inexperienced with shellac 3. Not very friendly I went to get my shellac manicure taken off and the guy did not sand it off at all before the acetone soaking, instead he let me soak and then took a cuticle tool and scraped it off damaging my nails, which is NOT supposed to happen to remove a shellac job. Second, I came back a week of so later in a pinch before graduation(my master’s degree) for a shellac. They did not do it properly and all of the layers did not dry and therefore it was TACKY. hairs and fuzz were sticking to it. Needless to say it lasted like 3 days before some chipping and it already had fuzz in it. Final poor experience(I know I feel like a glutton for punishment, but everytime I needed to get my nails done there was some sorority function or graduation), I wanted a pedicure, but I had damaged one of my toenails and it had acrylic on it from my previous job that was broken off and no matter how many times I told the women she didn’t get it and just keep trying to chip the acrylic off with a cuticle pusher. It hurt. Overall, go there in a pinch, but don’t expect anything awesome.

If you want a last minute pedi, this is a great place. There is usually not much of a wait for walk ins and price is affordable. $ 20 I think. Everything seems to be very clean.

The wait time was short for my walk-in appointment and the technician was friendly. The store is clean and bright, and the location is good. The downside: I paid $ 35 for a regular mani/pedi, but it was a bare-bones service… nothing special. I asked to have my nails buffed instead of polished. They did an okay job… but, again, not outstanding. The tech said it is «impossible» to buff fingernails well as I don’t have my cuticles cut. I know this is not true… I have them done the same way all the time at other shops(but these shops are not in Bloomington).

Granted, I’ve only gotten pedis from here, but it’s definitely my go-to place to get a cheapie pedicure. The nail techs are great here and the massage chairs are really nice. It seems really well-kept and clean!
