Bloomin’ Bagels

Always order a Bagel Basket to be delivered as a gift for Christmas. The staff is fabulous to deal with and delivery is very prompt. Our friends who receive the basket always call and say how nice it is.

Yes, I have joined the happy 5 star folks. Bloomin’ Bagels has more than just Bagels (which are delicious btw); they also have the best egg salad (that you can take home from their deli) that I have EVER tasted. so much better than the junk you buy at the grocery store delis. And their cream cheese flavors are whipped and they add THEIR OWN FRESH INGREDIENTS. I really love the strawberry cream cheese. Their egg, bacon and cheese on everything bagel is also great. I stop by for my staples en route home; ½ pd chicken and ½ ham from BB’s, ½ pd. Egg Salad, Everything bagels, Raisin Bagels and Chocolate Chip bagels (they will slice them for you if you ask), and ½ pd. Strawberry Cream Cheese. Oh and their coffee is awesome too. ok I’m done! LOL. But SERIOUSLY stop by if you are in the area. The only down side is that they are super busy and its hard to get good customer service because they are SO busy but its worth the wait :)

didn’t get the ½ sandwich I wanted today because the girl «didn’t know how to ring it up». Never asked anyone for help when there were two people directly behind her where they make the damned sandwiches! DUH! walked out the door.

Great Bagels! Wonderful friendly service! Always greeted with a warm friendly smile. Oh and the Bagels are yummy!!! It can get very busy but I noticed the service is still very good. Just one thing I noticed recently, the boss was yelling in the back at his staff I believe! That is just bad business, I guess he didn’t think he was being heard? That’s the only reason for 3 stars.

The only thing that’s a bigger joke than Chris Christie running for president is the customer service at your establishment.

Bloomin Bagels 2 is a great place for lunch and breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is very quick. The hot pastrami w/​swiss on everything bagel is great! Cracked pepper turkey w/​mayo on sesame… the list goes on. Great place!

The first place that comes to my mind when someone says «breakfast» is Bloomin’ Bagels. I’ve been going here for years; they have made a repeat customer out of me. The bagels are always fresh, they have a huge selection of bagel flavors and cream cheeses, and meats and vegetables. They are also vegetarian friendly! From my experience, the owner is a hard working, honest, and kind man.

BEST Bagels in the area! If you are looking for that NY Style bagel, you have found it in NEPA.
Fresh made everyday. You can get bagels with butter, cream cheese spreads, made into breakfast and lunch deli sandwiches, etc.
Fresh coffee brewed daily of your choice and size (think Wawa style).
Prices are reasonable, and the food is great! I miss these bagels, but enjoy getting a few when visiting family.

Ate here twice and it was excellent both times. Breakfast sandwiches A+, the coffee was A+ as well. Will come here whenever I am in the area.

Nice selection of bagels. Bagels aren’t to bad. This is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat when u don’t want something to heavy. The bagels were fresh and full of flavor. So as far a bagel shops go… This place is pretty tasty!

Always busy Sunday mornings! Bloomin bagels is a shop in town that anyone who has been there always knows that they make the best bagels.
The owner Don originally worked in a Jersey bagel shop and decided to go out on his own, but not before learning to make EXCELLENT bagels.
So for those of you that want the authentic bagels made the right way, this is the place to go.

It cracks me up that I’ve heard rumors over the years that they ship their water in from NYC to get the bagels here just right. I have yet to confirm whether or not this is true but they at least have the recipe down pat and are a standout in my old college town.
I measure a bagel shop on how often they can draw me back at any time of the day. Sure, I’ve had tens, if not triple digit runs over the years to grab a breakfast sandwich where they introduced me to the NJ «delicacy» of Taylor ham. Everything bagel with taylor egg & cheese with pepper please has become my go to on about 90% of my visits.
But then there are the times I’ve gotten a lunch craving as well and they do lunch sandwiches about as good as any I’ve ever had. In college, I was hung up on the egg salad sammy on a sesame bagel. Their lunch meats are all Boar’s Head brand and you can’t go wrong with any of those choices either. Don’t forget the cream cheese options, they must have 10 or more flavors and the chive one is best if you want something to schmear.
The food gets flying colors but the service has always been super friendly and inviting too. Smiley college co-​eds, even if it’s 7 AM, greet you with grin and enthusiasm. I don’t even know the owner of the place but almost every time I’ve been in there, she greets me with a «hey, how have you been?» like we go back decades… and we kinda do even if we have only said salutations many a mornings.
If you’re passing through on I-​80 and have a breakfast craving, skip the ubiquitous fast food options and take the 5 minute drive into downtown Bloomsburg to pick up some road food. This place gets such a seal of approval from me that we are using them to cater the breakfast the day after our wedding with family and friends.

When I went away to college, Bloomin’ was one of the first things I missed and continued to miss. The bagels here are exactly what they should be — soft with a fine crumb on the inside with a nice and chewy crust on the outside. Often times they’re still warm. Besides the bagels themselves, the breakfast sandwiches and flavored cream cheeses are wonderful. My standby is a whole wheat with walnut-​raisin. Cheap too.

I have eaten here many times because it is convenient and usually the only breakfast available other than the Bloom Diner (a much better choice) in town. I have only OCCASIONALLY received bagels that were fresh and soft on the inside. However, I HAVE been LIED to several times by the staff and THE OWNER when I ask if the bagel I want to buy was baked that day or not. You know, is it fresh? The owner has acted quite rude and impersonal to me as a customer on several occasions. My other main gripe is that they only hire inexperienced young college girls who wouldn’t work fast and efficiently if you stood behind them with a cattle prod. All in all the bagel idea in Bloomsburg is a nice try, especially if you can sucker the college crowd into thinking they’re getting quality bagels when they’re really not.

I graduated from Bloom University almost two years ago, and I still crave these bagels at least once a week.
There is nothing better than a bloomin’ bagel after a night of fun, and when I only had time for a shower, or a delicious bagel on those hungover mornings before class, bagels always won out
I have tried many bagel places since graduating, always hoping to find one as delicious as these bagels, but so far my search has been fruitless.
If you go in the morning, the bagels are fresh and hot. even in the afternoon, they are toasted to perfection, with a huge slathering of cream cheese. try the strawberry. it’s amazing.

Blooming bagels was (and still is) my favorite place to get a bagel sandwich. Although it’s located in Bloomsburg, when I visit my sister (attending Bloomsburg University) I always stop in. Their organization is lacking and the actual storefront is small, but the bagels are delicious. They aren’t TOO «bready» so it’s not like eating a loaf of bread around an egg. I’m a big, bloomin fan!

New York bagels right here in Bloomsburg, PA. My favorites are Everything, and Pumpernickel. I get ‘em with Lox Spread, Egg/​Taylor Ham/​Cheese, or Hot Pastrami. You would have to drive a long way to find Bagels this good; like to the other end of Town where Bloomin Bagels II is waiting in case you regret passing without stopping. Like Good, hot Bagels? Bloomin Bagels I or II has you covered, you will not be disappointed. 5*****
