This place is a charming and fabulous gem of Bloomsburg! Having walked down the main street and peering into each shop I passed by, I was pleasantly surprised by the urban chic interior décor. It reminded me of cafes I would see in Downtown Philly. Pros: – Very spacious with ample table and seating space to do work, chat with friends, or snuggle up in a comfy chair to read a book – Ambience is very urban. In my mind, it’s as though the décor of an Urban Outfitters met a local, trendy coffee shop and then produced Fog & Flame. – Coffee & pastries are good. Nothing too extraordinary about them, but they’re definitely far from being considered bad. Cons: – Nothing! Next time I return to Bloomsburg, I would love to come earlier in the day to try one of their sandwiches!

Stopped by on our way home after visiting relatives. I am not a coffee drinker but had a craving for hot chocolate and hit the jackpot. They make theirs using extra dark chocolate so the flavor shines through and it is not overly sweet. I guess you could add sweetener or a flavored syrup but I loved it on its own as dark chocolate is my weakness. The milk was steamed to a very good and hot temperature. Whipped cream wasn’t mentioned so I don’t k ow if it’s an option. I typically don’t want it so no problem there. I’m a big chai drinker so the next time I’m in the area I’ll be sure to check in again. Really nice atmosphere and staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Little jealous that Bloomsburg has a nicer coffee house than anything I’ve experienced in my home area!

The coffee is amazing. Fresh and yummy just like coffee should be. It was my first time here so there is always that awkward moment like eh what do I do, where do I order, what do they offer. But it’s easy to figure out! Friendly staff, super chill and cute/cozy environment. I had a BLT and it was pretty much perfection, thick slices bacon that actually covered every inch of the perfectly mayo’d rye bread that was toasted just how I love it! Not to crunchy that it cuts the roof of your mouth but just enough crunch that you know it was toasted! The tomatoes were sliced so that it was one slice on each half and none fell out mid panini bite. The lettuce was romain so even better then it showing up with iceberg. Served with a side of kettle cooked chips! Just an added bonus!

Fun fact is that this used to be the home of the old Starbucks location in town… but I feel it turned into something better! Although the BU kids have a Starbucks on their campus, I feel the addition of a Starbucks downtown would have added gentrification to the charming downtown area that the town doesn’t really need. There’s at least one solid independent coffeeshop in each of these towns and Fog and Flame is the go-to for Bloomsburg regulars to working professionals and students in the town. It’s the buzzed place to go to see and be seen. Talented baristas too with almost always decent music on the stereo.

First time there I loved it but only thing I was disappointed was the amount of chips. It didn’t look Iike the same amount as I seen in the picture shown in this app. Only have like 5 chips in total which was weird but anyways good sandwich I had the orchard really fresh tasting and awesome chai muffin because of the icing. The muffin itself wasn’t sweet but hey less calories right? Quiet environment so it’s perfect for homework or studying.

It is a nice and quiet environment. Their BLT is amazing. The crunchiness of the bacon and lettuce along with the juicy tomato swirls in your mouth. Don’t forget to try their baked goods along with their coffee.

Came in here on a hot summer day and ordered their cold brew. It was by far the best cold brew I’ve had. So well balanced and so tasty. The caffeine will hit you hard, but it was delicious. Really neat place, super tasty cold brew. I’ll definitely be coming back

If you are looking for a locally owned hometown coffee shop then this is your place. Friendly staff, great food. Myself & another person I was with had the chicken salad sandwich. Curry chicken salad with apples & raisins. So good! Came with chips. She had an iced chai which I tried & it was sweet & spicy, so yummy! I had a flat white. Made fresh with a lovely design. Only stopped in on a whim since we were passing thru. Great place to sit, relax by their big picture windows or enjoy their outdoor seating. A hidden gem! Will go back if ever I the area again!

I was on my way back from NYC on interstate 80 and searched for a coffee shop in the Bloomsburg area and found this place with good reviews. So I decided to stop it was only 5 minutes off the highway and WELLWORTHIT!!! The place It has the ambiance of a local coffee shop with somewhat limited seating. Looks like a great place to grab a cup and read a book and study. Vintage wood floors with a few small tables and few small chairs/couch to hang out in. I dont know if they have a private lot but all I saw was street parking so you might have to parallel park. The staff The guys working had suggestions ready to go when I asked. They were very friendly and patient with a me since I had never been there. The coffee I went with the barista suggestion and had the almond latte with a chai caramel muffin. Let me first say my latte was top notch. If was nice a hot which is a far cry from many places I go and they are luke warm! I have no idea what kind of beans they use but they had great flavor. A perfect balance of the almond blended with espresso. I was truly impressed. I can tell you I will be getting off the highway again next time I come down 80.

Great coffee shop with friendly and cute baristas. The iced Americano was served quickly and with no frills. I also had the chocolate chip cookie which was soft and oh so yummy. Definitely will be going back for more. A cookie and coffee for under five bucks seems pretty great to me. Would have given it five stars but some the art on the wall was a little hokey.

Exploring the area and saw good reviews for this coffeehouse… Had an EXCELLENT cappuccino with a DELICIOUS cookie! Staff is quick with a smile:) Loved the feel and atmosphere of the place… was quiet at the time and read to my content. Cool music in the background, not overpowering. If I lived nearby, I would definitely frequent this place!!!

I stopped into fog & flame this morning for a delicious cup of coffee. The woman behind the bar was extremely pleasant, but the service was so slow this is not a place you want to go if you anywhere to be. As for the food, I sampled the Bacon and Swiss quiche — after taking it from the case and 15 minutes passing the quiche arrived at my table cold? It was over six dollars for a slice and it was not good. I took a few bites and then found breakfast somewhere else. I’ve definitely had better coffee, service and food… not bad but not great.

Easily my favorite coffee shop. A lot of regulars here. There is even an open mic night showcasing some of the local talent. Becca, Rachel, and Tristan are awesome baristas rounding out the need to go here as often as I can. Oh yeah, the coffee is fantastic. Try a pour over.

I live in NY and feel the need to visit F&F every single time I visit my parents in PA. not only is the coffee great, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and a accommodating. I appreciate their extensive knowledge of pour-over techniques and the wide array of flavors. it’s definitely a place I visit multiple times on my trips through PA. I wish them nothing but success.

Nice interior, extensive menu of coffee beverages, etc. I asked the friendly gal if she made a good cappuccino and she replyed that she made a great cappuccino. It as very good. There weren’t much in the way of food items but that wasn’t my reason for being there. I’ll be back next time I’m in town. A good cup is hard to find in these parts unless you make it yourself.
