It is conventionally good, but not exquisite. Atmosphere is quiet and nice, and the prices ensure this. The food does not seem to be farm to table, nor is anything organic. If I am paying those prices, I want organic.

I read the reviews and was so excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there was no staff to greet me, nor did an employee ever come up front to seat me. It wasn’t crowded or busy so that can’t be an excuse. I left and went to a Cajun restaurant. Seasons was very disappointing to me. I’ll never go back when I’m in town!!!

The experience starts with the delightful setup. Soft lighting, semi private tables, and a warm setting makes for a comfortable physical experience. The food, to include the superb butter, was flavored with natural spices and fresh herbs and would appeal to any palette. The service is excellent and is a fantastic small dining experience that will exceed expectations.

I REALLYLOVETHISPLACE! When this place first showed up on main street in Bloomsburg i thought this place will never last. It was only open on certain days of the week and the hours were mostly centered close to weekends and during dinner and later. I also heard the prices were a little steep. This was my initial perception of the place. After getting into the restaurant and actually eating the food and see what this place is all about … IMINLOVE! Sure the food is a little more expensive, but the whole premise of the restaurant is they change the menu when foods come into season. Not only is it in season, they also get it fresh. Everything is prepped in house and made with care. The owners were cooks for quite a while and this is their love! When eating the meal in this nice quaint«hole in the wall» i realized how nice and cozy the place was. How much detail was given to the meal and the sheer brilliance of the cooking and prepping styles in the meal. Even though this is a «hole in the wall» their meals are world class and indicative of much bigger and prominent restaurants!

I think this is what happens when you take a good idea(changing the menu with the seasons), great food, and combine it with a hands-on head chef and owner. Truly a wonderful dining experience. We have been there twice. Once with ourselves and another couple… it was the perfect place to get to know some new friends even better, without the noise that comes from kids and families eating just a few feet away. The mussels we started with were great, as was the fresh baked bread. I had the filet as my main course… cooked to perfection. I can honestly say all four of us really loved our meals. The Chef even came by a couple of times and during one of his visits he recommended the brussel sprouts as did our friend who had been there before. How many times do you go anywhere and have the brussel sprouts recommended? Zero… that’s how many. Needless to say I felt compelled to try them. Sure glad I did… just great. Second time we took a much larger group of visiting family.(9) We received the same wonderful treat despite the much larger group. Only thing that was a little different was the owner/chef was on a rare trip out of town. I did miss the hands on treatment we got from him. But let’s face it… I think I was spoiled. lol It is BYOB. Although some of you might find that a negative, I do not. My taste in beers leans toward craft and micro-brews and as a result I am able to bring the kind of beer I love and my Wife knows she will be drinking her favorite wine.

Great vibe. Quiet and refined. We were from out of town and didn’t know the byob policy but the owner stopped by our table and gave us free wine! Lovely food. Thoroughly enjoyed the muscles!

Certainly a breath of fresh air to a small college town in need of a counter-balance to the student bars and hangouts. Lovely to have dined here on a Saturday evening with family during a short trip home. The seasonal menu was well-executed and full of flavor. Atmosphere was great and intimate. It always reflects well when the proprietor actively manages and runs his own restaurant. It was a nice touch to have Gary greet us at the door and make sure everyone was comfortable at the table. Wait staff was also attentive and very nice. All in all, had a wonderful evening dining at Seasons on Main. We had the filet minigon, lobster ravioli, pork chop, and oyster stew, all delicious. We will certainly be back next time we’re in town!

Seasons on Main is quite the little gem of a restaurant, tucked away in downtown Bloomsburg. My family has done there before and today we went again. Had a lovely experience as usual. The décor is changed around for every season, as is the menu– it looks very nice and cozy, with curtains hung up, decorative covers on the lights, and soft ambient lighting. A picture is enclosed with just what we got to see. There was also instrumental Christmas music playing at a soft volume, which was very nice to hear. For the actual meal, I got a Filet Mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. This was my first time trying a filet, and while it was a bit of a chewier meat than I was used to it was still very tender and had a pleasant taste. It was a bit on the drier side on account of being slightly overcooked, which was my only real complaint. The asparagus was excellent and the mashed potatoes were well-cooked and firm(despite being smothered with parsley). Desert was the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The cake was delicious– rich and moist, with just the right amount of chocolate. Despite a few minor mistakes, for the most part my meals were quite delicious. I’ll definitely be dining at SOM again!

Dined there with friends recently… The menu was a wonderful choice of delicious entrees and appetizers to tempt your palate but save room for the amazing desserts! This BYOB establishment changes their menu and décor with the seasons and the owner is present to greet you and be sure you are enjoying your dining experience.
