The setting is gorgeous. The food was mediocre. Salad drenched in dressing, overcooked meat and tepid soup. But the service was awful. Nice server who said sorry more times than not. He brought pasta for my kids, but kept forgetting the parmesan cheese. By the time he brought it out, three of the four kids had finished.
I loved our stay at Chetola and will come again. I just won’t dine at their restaurant. What a shame, because the setting is beautiful … and the cornbread was divine.

A great meal and a great dessert. Jazz music and a 3 hour dinner with wonderful wine. Now that’s what anyone would call relaxation at its best. The trout was spectacular. Service was fantastic.
