I’m not sure why so many people love Starbucks. Their coffee is expensive and bitter. Dunkin’ Donuts’ coffee is half the price, smooth, piping hot and delicious. I’ve been to this Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru twice where someone in front of me paid for my coffee! What a great way to start the day. I’ve never had that happen at Starbucks.

This Dunkin’ Donuts is right on the way to UC Blue Ash so it is a usual stop when I am heading to class. This Dunkin’ Donuts is attached to gas station/Subway. There is usually only one person working, two on a good day and the service is slooooooooooow. I usually only order coffee although I have ordered hashbrowns at this location once and they were hot and tasty. It’s clean, the speed of service is just so out of control slow that I had to go with 2 stars.

This Dunkin Donuts location is on the corner, inside of a Shell station. For where it is, there is a decent sized seating area. Around back, off of Hunt Rd, is the drive thru. They seem to have a fairly steady stream of customes. Both visits I found my donut to be starting to turn stale. This could be prevented if doors were installed on the donut case. Instead, donuts are hanging out in the open. The cream in the Pumpkin Pie donut was thick and pastie. Flavor was good, all be it a little too sweet. On my next visit I tried the Vanilla Cream donut. Sweet Crisco would be a more accurate discription. No vanilla flavor, and the cream seemed to leave a film on my tongue. Both visits I ordered green iced tea. It was a little light on flavor for my taste. The woman who took my order on my first visit was accurate, friendly and efficient. On my second visit I was not so lucky. The young man seemed very confused by everything. It wasn’t only my order. He seemed to be confused by the order after mine as well. I am hoping that he was new and getting the hang of things. I decided to eat my donut there; glad I did. Upon opening my bag I discovered the wrong donut. First visit was a 3 star affair; second a 1. I am splitting the difference and giving this location 2 stars.
