I have driven past this place a million times and didn’t know it was a restaurant… I assumed it was a shoe store A friend told me I had to check it out and I’m so glad that I did! The garlic knots were a great start, so fresh and yummy! We started with the stuffed mushrooms as an app and they were the best I’ve ever had. Next we had Caesar salads, also delicious. For my meal I ordered the homemade gnocchi in a vodka sauce. At this point I was stuffed from the knots, mushrooms and salad but j couldn’t not eat what was in front of me, it was that good! Can’t wait to go back and try the pizza!

Convenient spot to grab some Italian food if you work in the area. Been there a few times. When ordering pizza for pick up be mindful the online menu on Google is not correct, they only serve 12″ pizzas at the price of a 16″, the menu says 12″ and 16″. Pizza’s are good, just lack a bit of crunchiness so if you like that ask for extra crispy.

One of the best lunch spots in the area, From the Boot is a step-up from your typical lunch spot but still casual enough for a group of friends. I’m always on the lookout for lunch spots while wasting away in an industrial park in Blue Bell, and I’m really happy I found From the the Boot. In the strip mall next to Pudges, inside you’ll find an inviting little restaurant with a large wood fire grill and some table. The place is BYOB, so if you’re into drinking at lunch you’ll have to bring your own. From the Boot has one of the better lunch specials in the area. The Express Lunch(around $ 10) includes a drink, soup/salad, and your choice of a large personal pan pizza or hot sandwich. I opted for the Italian Wedding soup and the Bianco pizza(Mozzarella, Roast Garlic, Ricotta, Romano, and Oregano). The meal started with complimentary garlic knots, a nice touch. The Italian Wedding Soup was fantastic with the rich broth and juicy meatballs(oh the meatballs), I’d order that again by itself. The personal pan pizza was at least 12″ in diameter, and while it was thin crust it was very filling. The Bianco had perfectly melted mozzarella, a touch of roasted garlic, and a healthy heaping of melt-in-your-mouth Ricotta. My only complaint was the extremely slow service — most people only get an hour for lunch or less, an we were all a little late getting back to the office. Overall, From the Boot is a great change of pace from your usual lunch spot. Come early and order the Express Lunch and you’ll have a great lunch.

We really like this place. The food really hits the spot when we’re in the mood for Italian. The brick oven pizza is delicious. And it’s BYOB which is a major bonus!

Slow service… Unless they know you, you’re not that important. Food is decent but the arrogance of the service will keep me from going back.

Nice little ma and pa place… garlic rolls are amazing best thing there. Meatballs are pretty solid. My wife said they have good lasagna. The only negative is the service is kind of slow. Overall worth visiting just dont expect to get in and out quick.

This place is great. I’ve been several times and everything has always been amazing, including the service. The salad dressing is my favorite ever… The garlic rolls they serve to each table are amazing. Every time both my dinner and the dinners of the people I went with have been great. Definitely a nice little Italian spot. Plus I love that it’s byob!

BYOB with a woodfire oven and banging Italian food? And the most amazing garlic rolls I’ve ever experienced? Worth the 20 minute drive into the suburbs for me without hesitation! Bonus of dining in the suburbs: ample parking. I’ve visited on two different Friday nights with large parties. The service is outstanding. They’ve got the BYOB thing down — they’ll offer to open bottles right away and bring a wine chiller for your whites. Food = great. I’ve already mentioned the garlic rolls. SHOWSTOPPERS! But everything else I’ve tried is delicious too. The wood-fired wings with Gorgonzola sauce, the calimari salad, the bucatini, the pizza — all winners. If you find yourself in Blue Bell, or even if you don’t, check this place out!

Had my rehearsal dinner here this past Thursday with a party of 25. Everything and I mean everything exceeded my expectations. Rebecca made the menu process easy and went out of her way to make sure we had a menu our guests would like. The service was fantastic and the food was even better.

Looking for a good BYOB? Then look no further! My husband and I stop in every few weeks and I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Chicken parm is delicious. And the pizza is great too!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! It’s a little hole In the wall that driving by you would not think anything of, but let’s just say the food is very comparable or I fact better to the finer restaurants! Their Garlic bread is sooo amazing!!! I’m a fan of mushrooms so therefore I order their filet mignon and it’s amazing everytime! Ive been here so many times I lost count! Everything on their menu is a pleaser!

After reading some of the below reviews, either we went to a completely different restaurant OR the people reviewing with 5 stars don’t know good, authentic Italian food. I was here about two years ago for my birthday. The food then was decent, but nothing to write home about. Because the place my boyfriend and I were going to head to was closed(shame, because THAT was good authentic Italian), we settled on here. We were seated in the«dining» room area and the hostess told us about it being Wine Wednesday, so we selected a glass and took a look over the menu. We were introduced to our server, and we were later introduced to another server. It took a while to get an order in and there was hardly anyone in the place. My boyfriend went with the baked penne and I went with the gnocchi because they don’t offer a gluten free pasta option(poor in my opinion since so many people have a gluten allergy but want to still enjoy a «pasta» variety). The boyfriend’s baked penne was dry and burnt and the sauce tasted out of a jar, but we were so hungry, he ate it. My gnocchi on the other hand was over cooked and mush in the mouth. I swapped it out for the lobster ravioli which was ok but the sauce had a metallic taste. While i was waiting for my new meal, the bus boy came over and tried taking my boyfriends plate(he was waiting for my food to come out to be a gentleman). It took forever to flag someone down to get him some water though. We definitely said this will be a last time.

I really enjoy coming to this restaurant. I love that they bring out garlic knots to get you started while looking over the menu… so yummy. Their baked penne, lasagna, and pizza are all delicious. The calamari was pretty good but I felt could have used a little more flavor. Portions are smaller than what you’d expect, but it fills you up. I’d rather have a smaller portion of something delicious than a big portion of mediocre food. I enjoy the atmosphere in there because it’s not too loud and it’s on the smaller side which I really like. It’s the type of restaurant where I can finish my dinner and still sit at my table for another half hour or so just talking the night away. You can’t do that at many restaurants, so it’s a great place to go with friends yiu haven’t seen in a while! Oh and a big plus is that it’s BYOB!

My wife and I stop in every few weeks for a light dinner of salad and pizza. The antipasta is good… the Caesar… not too good. Anyway, the pizza is great. Quatro fromagio, and Carne are usually our choices. The hot cheesy rolls are great too. Take your favorite Cab or beer… Better yet, go Monday night and enjoy a free Peronni(Italian beer) with your pizza! Keep that wood oven burning!

Super good take out pizza! We typically get take out from the Blue Bell location and have not been disappointed. The pizza From the Boot is better than some other dedicated pizza shops in Blue Bell.

Fantastic food. Friendly service. The bread for the table is fantastic, lasagna was excellent, and most plates were clear so I think everyone enjoyed their meals. Definitely be back.

After several bad experiences here, I will not be back. The first time I tried From the Boot I ordered eggplant parm from their take-out menu. The eggplant was drowning in cheese, and the side of spaghetti was bland and lacking in sauce. Gross! However, I decided to give the restaurant another try, thinking that I just caught the chefs on a bad day. The next time, I ate at the restaurant and ordered the Tortaloni Tomasso. The huge plate that my meal was served on contained FOUR tortaloni and probably 2 – 3 whole cups of sauce. Horrible. This was disappointing, considering the dishes that were served to other tables looked very appetizing. I would try From the Boot again, but the prices are too high to waste another meal. The only reason From the Boot doesn’t receive one star is our waitress, who was very sweet and accommodating.

From the Boot has three locations – Ambler, Lafayette Hill, and Blue Bell. For a while, I was going to the one in Lafayette Hill, but then I discovered this location in Blue Bell and realized it’s closer, and honestly, a lot roomier inside. Extra star from me. When I come to From the Boot, I’m here for three things: 1) The garlic rolls. My favorite. 2) Their arugula salad. Arugula, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, olives, and pine nuts. It might be one of my favorite salads. 3) Tiramisu. So good. Oh yeah, and their pizza and most of their entrees are great too, but really I’m good with those three things.
