Good choice for beer if you need it. It’s easy to get to, has a big enough parking lot, and, most importantly, a good selection of libations: wine coolers, beer, soda, you name it.
If only they had liquor. Ah, but Pennsylvania liquor laws…

Blue Bell, PA

As far back as I can remember, this was always the place to go for adult beverages. Sure, its a PA thing… you can’t really buy beer in that many places, but when you find a place in which you can buy beer, it helps if they have a good selection. And they do.
Beyond the usual suspects, they will have Flying Fish, Dogfish Head, Victory… not necessarily ever last variety of such, but generally they have what I would want to buy. The walk-in cooler section doesn’t have as much to offer (and they tack on a minor, additional charge for semi-cool beer), but its there in a pinch. No sixpacks or any sort of mix-n-match, so don’t bother asking.
Its hard to justify 4 stars for such an establishment, especially after living outside of PA for a bit, but if you are in the area you really have no other choice. And this joint could do a lot worse. Oh yea, they sell lottery tickets and gum. And they are a short hop from Pudge’s. Why live anywhere else?
