While in Maine for a vacation trip, we headed even farther north to Bill Hill in search of this store. We were given some of this pottery years ago and my traveling companion was interested in some additional pieces. This is a real pottery studio with a small retail operation adjacent to it, not some outlet store, they make it all on site. The work is very well crafted and there is a solid timeless quality to it. Its not cheap, but handcrafted work by talented artists rarely is. The folks here are very friendly and helpful and although there is not a lot of inventory, its worth the trip if your nearby and in search of the real stuff.
