I learned about Allied when attending a Bed Bugs presentation by the Chicago Housing Authority. So, when one of my tenants notified me that they were certain they had bed bugs, «Allied» was the only company I knew to call. And, I could not be more pleased with their handling of my building. Steve Johnson was professional, courteous and took the time to explain every step of the process, both to me and to my tenants. Allied is also familiar with the City of Chicago’s Bed Bug Ordinance, so they understood the records needed to document that the problem was being handled quickly. Needless to say, within 3 – 4 days of first contacting Allied, the company performed the initial inspection and treated both units of my building. My tenants said the technicians were thorough, took pictures and showed them the areas of concern.
I didn’t feel Allied inflated my prices or attempted to scare or intimidate me into spending more. They were honest enough to assess that my building required conventional treatment-​no heat treatment and no special dryers were necessary.
I also appreciated that I was able to communicate with Steve over the phone and via e-​mail, including payment processing, so there was no need to delay their service. And, after completing the treatment, Allied will return in 2 weeks for a follow-​up inspection, then again 2 weeks after that.
I have given Allied a 5-​star rating, which is as good as it gets, because I think my experience with the company was as good as it could have been. I used them for bed bugs, but I will consider them for any pest removal services that arise. And, from their web site, I see the other services that they provide as well. All I can say is if the rest of the company is as thorough and professional as Steve, I recommend them with two thumbs up!

I work with this company on a daily basis since I work in a 500 unit property management complex. The level of personal care and service can’t be matched. The techs they send out are professionals and the office staff is always very organized and looking to save us money. We do everything from unit trash outs, home inspections, general pest control to bed bug mitigation. I highly recommend working with this company and hope you get to work with Mike Brown, Barbara and Lillian; who are very hard working individuals..

Dave and Steve were amazing. I was freaking out re the bugs. They were very calm and explained the entire process. I called and emailed numerous times. The workers were very respectful of our space. Steve is doing some research for me to make sure we do not repeat an infestation.

We used Allied to repair a wall damaged by water and clean up some mold. They were fantastic. They showed up on time. Explained the work that needed to be done. Worked efficiently. They were able to work around our busy work schedules which meant coming on Sunday. And the best part is they were extraordinarily clean. After a day of sanding plaster they vacuumed and dusted. We will definitely be using them again.
