Fun local bar I think they have a new menu the food is better.
Making bar more marketable to younger crowds from sport stars to wiffle ball tournaments.

Great atmosphere and amazing staff. It was my first time into the place and had a great time playing bags and the slots. I would recommend the sausage sandwich with ALL the goods. Definitely will make a point to stop by again.

Double Play Saloon has it all. Great food, great people. Very nice closed in beer garden for the winter. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em. And the owners are Awesome.

Let me just say that if you don’t live down the street from this place or have been told about it, then you would never know it was there. So far, this is THE dive bar of all dive bars I’ve been to. The inside is super small and is definately not booming with business. The so called «beer garden/outside area» is actually a big garage-like room. I felt like I was drinking back some beers at a stranger’s house rather than a bar.
You’d think that this place would have some type of theme considering the name, but instead it seems to be a place for an underage crowd to go to, give the «i’m a tough guy act», and feel «cool» about being in a bar. There is nothing special about this place at all.
It gets an extra star for having «bags» available for play. Something you can really only find on the south side.
