The breakfast was great, well cooked and the cheese smothered all over it and melted it was perfect. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because it was over priced I’m assuming because it’s a tourist area. Over all good food decent customer service.

Let me start this review off by saying this is my first negative Unilocal review written. Ive had a lot of bad experiences with ppl in the food industry, but absolutely nothing compares to the way we were treated by a cashier at this McDonald’s. She would not acknowledge us when we were ready to order, was intentionality trying to be rude with out saying it, then didnt give us our yogurt. Extremely unprofessional. At this point, not a big deal. I can live with it. But when we asked for our yogurt, she proceeding to grab one from a bin that was room temperature and gave it to us. We went back, and explained, and another employee grabbed a cold refrigerated one and gave it to us. The food was good once we got it figured out. But the fact that an employee was incredibly obvious in her intentions to sabatage our food and give us a bad experience because she likely thought we didnt deserve it for some reason, thats the type of thing that never wants to me to come back and make sure no one ever suffers through it as well.

Ordered $ 21.46 worth of food, yesterday and did not get what I ordered, which included a bacon cheeseburger, so I had to eat a patty that I had bought for my dogs — ugh. I had already driven away and did not want to go back, so am writing this review. I did not even get a receipt with phone number, name, and order listed. The order taker was very confused, so I should of held up the drive through and checked my large order before leaving. We have visited this franchise many times, and this time was the very worst. The prices are different than corporate McDonalds also, buyer beware. My dogs have never been offered a dog biscuit as stated by another reviewer, I always buy the patties — which I was reduced to eating as stated above!

Okay as far as food goes, but my god it takes 30 min to get your order. We went by on the way home thinking it would be faster than making dinner. It wasn’t. At least the food is hot. But every time we go it takes forever.

You guys are awful, simple order, two double cheeseburgers, plain, with only cheese… Yet your skills manager still hasn’t taught you to listen, yet you’d rather upsale and cut me off and try sell me 2 apple pies…

Overly excited to have cheesy burgers while visiting our cabin in the area. Slight mix up with the order, but they figured it out quickly. The burgers were well seasoned which is always a plus. Bathrooms are clean, location was clean too but could use a bit more heat with the snow piling up outside. Bring a jacket!

Honestly the worst McDonalds I have ever been too. Something is just wrong with this place. The food is poorly made and delivered to the customer. The staff are young kids likely from the mountain community who dropped out of school and decided this is their life because it shows in their behavior towards customers…

this McD’s has many 1-star reviews — sad since the owner doesn’t seem to care about his customers ;(- I’ve been a customer of this McD’s for 14yrs — and it IS one of the worst. i. e raising prices to $ 1.60 on a kids small ice cream cone. how GREEDY to punish children and low income people on a hot day(BurgerKing is 50cents !). sometimes the staff is RUDE, not smiling, not friendsly. I’ve spent a bundle there over the yrs, I will STOPGOINGTHERE from now on — probly better for my health anyway — not cool Blue Jay McD owner — not cool at all

This is a cute McDonald’s in a mountain community. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered food for my family and it was done before I got everyone seated. Food was very good also after a long day…

This is a very small McDonalds that is in Blue Jay. The drive thru is pretty fast and to dine in you have limited parking and a long walk. It seems it’s slower inside then using the drive thru and exiting the drive thru is an awkward route into The super market parking lot. The food is similar to any of the McDonalds chain and this one offers on nuggets for .99 cents that’s a deal, if you dine inside they fill your drinks and you have to ask for a refill. The dinning are is a bit small but what do expect for a mountain community in Blue Jay. Makes it a cozy place. Word of causation is if you dine in when it snows becareful cause the snow is very slippery and walk on the grass and not the side walk.

Avoid this place like the plague. It is more expensive than any other McDonald’s, and far worse than any McDonald’s I have visited. I probably already knew this, but I was in a hurry to get to work. So I ordered a sausage muffin with egg, and a senior citizen’s coffee. Pretty hard to screw up, but they managed. The coffee was hot, very, fine, but had an acidic tinge, of the type that occurs with brewing machinery that has not been cleaned since the French Revolution. The muffin was dry and crumbly, the cheese was coagulated into the muffin, the sausage was tasteless, and the egg appeared to be mostly crispy fried white, well larded. The whole thing felt and tasted to be several days old. The service was typical vapid bored teen-ager, but so what? It ain’t the Del. As a resident and booster of Lake Arrowhead, I feel it my duty to warn visitors about this abomination. If you are on the way«down the hill», Wait ½ hour and go to the Del Taco on 40th. If you are coming up, go to the McD in LakeArrowhead Village, or, better yet, one of the many excellent coffee shops in the area.

How can a McDonalds be so awful?! Being a mtn local I have been to this particular McDonalds at least 25 times in the past 18mo. First of all, they have never gotten an order right in the drive-thru. I wish that the word ‘never’ was an exaggeration but it’s not. Secondly, the food is always cold. I don’t understand how I can wait at the window for 5 minutes for cold cheeseburgers. I keep swearing I won’t go back because it’s SO awful but sometimes when you are hungry and time is if the essence you just have to go to the only drive-thru there is. The people who work there are friendly enough but the food is worse than any other McDonalds I’ve ever had. It gives the mediocre franchise a bad name and that’s saying something. Only eat here if you are on the verge of passing out from lack of food and don’t care about cold incorrect orders.

Here for thanksgiving. The workers were still really great and the food was normal for mcdonalds. Everything was pretty clean and nice decorations. They do have a dollar menu and within the past year they remodeled the furniture so it’s all nice.

I doubt that anyone needs a review for McDonalds, but since I visit this location a couple times per month, I thought I’d share a few comments. One of the things that impresses me about this location is its ability to actually follow through on simple requests like«no mayo.» At any other McDonalds, I would have to pull through the drive-through and wait for a lifetime to receive my «special order.» Not so in Blue Jay. They always get my order correct, and I’ve never had to wait too long. Why only three stars? Partly for pricing, and partly because the menu items are pretty basic. I’ve never been inside though, so my comments only reflect my drive-through experience.

This mcdonalds is awesome! I don’t know why other people don’t like it. Its convenient when you need a snack in Arrowhead. I’ll often stop here on my way in. Also, if you go through the drive through, they will give you dog biscuits for free! An extra star just for that! To be honest, I usually just go through the drive through, and maybe thats a better experience than actually going in.

I doubt anyone will really read this. But like the other reviewer, it’s pretty bad here. First thing I dont think it’s 24⁄7 drive thru? And they don’t have a dollar menu! I hate places that overprices their items just because they can, they call it business but that’s why I would never support those kind of business. But hey, if you’re craving McDonalds, you are in the middle of nowhere, it’s the closest one in the area. You can drive about 10 – 15 minutes away and go to the other one… not sure where it is tho. Unilocal time!

I would say«THEWORSTMCDONALDSEXPERIENCEEVER» But EVERY Mcdonalds experience is the worst. When I walked in the place was trashed, floor was all sticky, trash everywhere! I ordered a Big Mac meal and the Big Mac was totally cold! dude, the cheese wasn’t even SLIGHTLY melted, I sware I was going to ask them to throw it in the microwave for a few minutes. I’m not one to complain, but everytime I go to mcdonalds my food is cold, the ice in my soda is melted already when I get it, I NEVER get any napkins… just horrible. Mcdonalds has totally dropped the ball on everthing, they bring new meaning to «Quantity over Quality»
