This is my favorite Chinese place in town. It doesn’t look impressive by any means but the food is great. The lunch buffet is very affordable. The buffet isn’t huge but I can always find enough of the things I like on it. It is a lunch buffet though not a dinner buffet. They have the sense to cover stuff up so it doesn’t get cold like at other places in town but it is better at lunch time. The takeout is always great! The staff is always friendly. The location is great too. While you are waiting for your food you can go get a few things at the Food Lion, the pharmacy, rent a movie at the Redbox machine, or even get a pizza or something from Dominos if everyone at your house isn’t crazy about Chinese food. This is my favorite place to eat in town.

We got carry out from here while on vacation in Blue Ridge. The sesame chicken had too much breading and the sauce was a little too thick. We also ordered the Spicy Mongolian Beef which was definitely better than the chicken dish, but again, the consistency of the sauce was a little too thick. The restaurant was poorly decorated and looked a little dingy — they also had this semi-transparent curtain behind the counter separating the cash register area from the kitchen area that was just weird. It does have a small amount of seating and what looked like a buffet if you want to dine in. I’ve definitely had better Chinese food, but if you’re in the mood for Chinese in Blue Ridge, I’ve heard this is the best place to go. Maybe the cook was just off that day, but I don’t think we’ll be back. There are other great places to eat in Blue Ridge.
