I have to agree with most of the other reviews! This place is a must stop if you are a craft beer fan. Most of what they had on tap was on the lighter side but very good! The staff were great and very knowledgeable about their craft. I would highly recommend this place. Be cautious of the hours because the closing time will sneak up on you!

We come to the mountains often but seldom come into town. Am glad we did — we saw a reference to Fannin Brewing Company in a newsarticle and decided to check it out. Time well spent., The facilities aren’t large and you can pass it by if you’re not vigilant. Parking it also limited so if you visit on a weekend, get there as they open. I was a little surprised by the price, but soon saw that I got value: it’s $ 15 for a tasting/tour and you get to try six different brews. They pour generously, so A) eat before you go and B) yay! You can choose to keep your glass — if you don’t, then you get $ 3 back. There’s limited seating indoors but a larger outdoor area with tables, canopies and games(think cornhole). There’s also a stage for entertainment during good weather. The outdoor area is pet friendly. Their beer options range from light to dark with the majority on the light side. The IPA is tasty, as is the golden ale — Their beers are now carried at Taco Mac and Total Wines. Fannin Brewing will be a regular stop for us on our mountain trips from now on. We had a great time and lots of good beer.

Stopped in for Friday night tasting. They brewery was introducing a new beer, Pin Puller, in honor of veterans. Two of the brew masters there are recent vets and came up with this tasty beverage. This was a great experience. The owner was very nice and greeted us at the door. We were able to taste(with great serving sizes) 6 of their most recent beers. The beer was great and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Plenty of space to sit outside in covered areas or play outdoor games and talk. Fun night! Will be back!

Awesome beer and a great experience. This was the last stop a buddy and I made last Friday as we separated from a larger group trip to check out the local breweries. It did not disappoint and was just as great as the rest. Very good beers, the Chief Whitepath is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Just as great was the environment and experience we had there. The place is very cozy and decorated very nicely with comfortable benches to sit on. We spent a few hours chatting with the owners, getting to know how they got into the brewery business and they got to know us. Even ended up playing catch and teaching some football lessons to the son of one of the employees, who then invited me to go to a local high school football game that night. I wish I could’ve gone, had it not been for the rest of the group waiting for us to return from our brewery run that was only supposed to last 2 hours but ended up being about 6 because of how great the people were. I hope to make it back here one day.

This place was pretty cool. We drove past it 3 times trying to find it. Ample parking. Good outside area complete with picnic tables and corn hole. The beers were pretty good on their own. There was an unconditioned garage area where the brewing happens to hang out as well. On the day we attended, someone had brought in some homemade Bar-B-Q, which was a nice treat as well.

So if your looking for some awesome fresh beer this is your place! So the building is a work in progress but what they have done is very cool. The owners are there pouring and manning the door. Everyone there was very nice. Everyone at the place were just cool and relaxed. Someone had made a big pot of goulash to share with everyone. You can bring your own food here as they don’t serve any. So for $ 10 you get a pint glass and 6 half glasses of beer. They were all generous halfs I have to say! The beer was amazing. I was driving so only had 3 but tasted a couple more my wife got. They had an octoberfest that was awesome. Black bear hefeweizen was yummy. I can’t wait until they are bottling so I can have the Hiawassee Ale every day at home. It was my favorite! All beer was flavorful without being overbearing. Def not watered down at all. So if your I. Blue Ridge on fri or sat. Try this place out. I know we will be back soon!
