Huck’s Lost Mine

Very good for the children and the combo of gem mining and mini golf made it even better. Kids had a blast and not too expensive.

Tl;dr — Broken elevator, lack of posted hours, and rude staff lead woman on crutches to never come back.
I would really liked to have made a purchase today from the Huck’s Lost Mine general store, but instead I walked out and will never come back.
I have an injured ankle, so I am on crutches. I got there thinking that the mini golf would still be open, as the store was open. Looking at their website, there was no info on mini golf hours. I took the «mineshaft» (elevator) down a level, to find locked doors. While a little annoyed, I was fine until I got in the elevator and pressed the button for the 2^nd floor, where I’d entered.
The button for the 2^nd floor didn’t work. A worker explained to us that the 2^nd floor button wasn’t working, and pointed to a ²⁄₃ scratched off completely unreadable sticker next to the button. There was no other signage anywhere. I then had to climb a block’s worth of stairs to get back to the 2^nd floor.
I decided not to purchase anything after that, and (still politely) asked the woman at the register where the nearest restroom was. She was incredibly rude, acting like I was a major inconvenience, and gave us what a neighboring store told me must have been intentionally wrong directions. I had to stop again at another store to ask again.
I have never actually left with an opinion of a store that made me angry, but this outfit managed it.
Talk to your employees. Fix your site. Fix your elevator. Regardless, I’m never coming back.

This place is new to Blue Ridge they have mining and mini golf and great package rates it’s fun for kids and adults… The whole family had a good time playing in the indoor mini gold and sifting thru the dirt and finding gems and stones… The Staff is very friendly and accommodating… They also have a very nice general store attached where you can find rare candies and local goodies. Very Enjoyable time…
