Beautiful campground in a forest on the banks of the river feeding into Cougar Reservoir. Sites feel private and isolated, with tables, fire rings and vault toilets nearby.
At the time of my visit, a Sunday in July 2015, this campground was virtually deserted! I spent a very peaceful night here, then drove over to nearby Hot Springs (about a 15-​minute drive).
Would definitely stay here again!
