54th Street Grill and Bar

In Blue Spring Mo. tonight and thought I would try out this Bar and Grill. The food was great and the house salad was one of the best I had in a long time. The worst part about this experience was because I was by myself they seated other customers in front of me. Outside of that the staff was friendly and the food was good.

My family lives near by and we wanted something awesome along with a nice cool drink to pair with it. Well we decided to come here.
I’ve been here before but not for many years. I just knew they are a good burger joint.
Came here with my family and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This visit we were sat right away and our server was pretty cool. Forgot his name but really nice guy. Got me a fancy IPA beer that he recommended and man was it delicious. I believe it’s their only IPA so it’s a must if you can have some.
I got Maui Kim’s chicken salad and holy crap was it amazing! It was a lot too!!! They don’t mess around here it was fresh and crunchy and really flavorful. I loved every bit of it and the pairing of the IPA with is was just out of this world good. I was more than pleased with this visit.
The other great thing about this place is that if you have an iPhone and you scan the table card you can register and win discounts and free appetizers on your visit right when you sit down and use it THE SAME DAY!!! Unlike most other places where you’d have to wait till your next visit you can use these right away! So we got a free appetizer. I think it was the Chicago spinach and artichoke dip!!! It comes with tortilla chips and salsa and the dip.
The server was patient and friendly and we weren’t rushed or felt bothered and the place was great. Loved looking at the decorations and even the bathroom was kept nice.
To some up everything I loved this place! A little on the greasy side but that’s what grills are known for right? It’s a great place! I’d recommend this to everyone!

Went for a quick pre-​work meal. Ordered a chopped salad– menu recommends getting dressing on salad since they’re tossed– I asked for light dressing.
Oh my god. My salad was drowned in dressing. Couldn’t taste anything. I felt so bad but I literally took one bite and had to send it back. I declined a replacement because I was already kinda rushing and ate most of the app we ordered.
The bartender promised to take it off the bill. No worries. For some reason she sent the manager over– it was awkward– I said I really wasn’t worried about it and he goes «well we’ll tell them to go easy on the dressing next time» what?
The kicker? We get the bill and there’s only a coupon added for $ 10 off. My salad was $ 10.99. I’m not worried about 99 cents but then again I’m kinda aggravated that I even had to pay any amount for the nastiest salad I’ve ever taken a bite of… No Bueno 54^th street, no Bueno…

Food is always amazing and the bar staff is very friendly. I’ve been going here since it opened! Prices are competitive and they have a great happy hour.

We sat at the bar for reverse happy hour and we had the some of the worst service I’ve had in a long time. The bartender was rude and impatient. She stood across the bar from us and was making drinks when she asked for our order. We had to yell over to her to put food in. She dropped classes on the floor and put them back without washing them (yuck!). Little things like over filling my beer so the glass is all wet and dripping and no coaster; never refilling waters; yelling at other waitstaff in a way that was disruptive to patrons. Lack of common courtesy and clearly very poorly trained. I don’t think I’ll be back.

From a casual dining perspective, this is my favorite location. The while family leaves happy with something for every palate. I almost always order one of the four same meals: Gyro (winner most visits), French dip, steak soup w bread, or halfsized portion of chicken fried chicken. My kids love the French dip and our youngest thinks the burgers are the best. My husband almost always orders the buffalo chicken sandwich. Of all the chains, this is the family favorite.

In my humble opinion, 54^th Street in general is good for drinks and appetizers. I’ve never felt their food was anything better than average. My friends and I enjoy going to 54^th Street for their late night happy hour and gringo dip. Nothing is spectacular, but the service is always good and there’s never a long wait for your food to come out.

My wife and I had dinner there last night — The food was decent, but the service was abysmal. I ordered a burger medium well done and received one that was pink in the middle — so far, just a small error. The server went back to get the order corrected.
Minutes pass. My wife finishes eating. The server comes by a couple of times to tell me «it’ll be right out.». Two new tables are seated in my section. They get their drinks, then their appetizers, then their meal. I ask another server and the hostess about my meal. After nearly a half hour, my meal finally arrives, and my wife watches me eat.
Mistakes are understandable — however, the restaurant’s attitude toward fixing it was, to say the least, lackluster.

Man, this place is always pretty spot on. And that’s more than you can say for most places, am I right?
The service here is always speedy and efficient, the wait staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the food is really damn good.
When I was a carnivore, I would devour the club Five Four, which is a Triple decker sandwich, loaded with slow smoked beef brisket and smoked ham, blended with our special BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, sliced tomatoes, pickles, cheddar and pepper jack cheese.
Oh my god, it was so good.
But now I’m a veg, their veggie burger is just okay. I don’t think they make it in house, which is a huge letdown. So it’s just «meh».
Their nachos, salads, and baked potatoes are so delicious, though.
I realize I’ve made all their vegetarian options sound like total shit, but seriously, just go and try it out.
