Gordmans

I always find something i like here. They have a wonderful selection of clothes, accessories, and household items. I decorated my office with things from here. They have everything from close to pet supplies. Definately my favorite department store of all time!

I love just about everything here! I shop here quite often. As for their jeans, they have TONS of them now. I bought three pairs just last month. The only gripe I have is that I shop here in the mornings, and it’s FULL of vendors stocking shelves with their boxes all over the place, while at the same time the cleaning crew is buffing all the floors, so it’s loud and busy. It annoys me to no end that they do this during business hours. However, the prices are great, and with that 20% coupon they keep sending me, I can’t stay away!

Gordman’s opened this week in Blue Springs. I needed to go to the Gap, and it is in the same proximity of Gordman’s in Blue Springs.
I buy tons of my clothes at the Gordmans on 40 highway. So, the new one peaked my interest. Upon entering, the first thought I had was, «This reminds me of Urban Outfitter’s on the Plaza.» It is bright, pretty, layed out with colorful displays. I took pictures of it. It is so striking and bright. Wow… then I shopped in it… little wow.
I specifically visited it for a pair of jeans. In the Junior department, the only jeans were skinny jeans (which I bought from the Gap the other day). But the blouses in the juniors department were so bright and full of life.
The lingerie is bright, and as always i wondered if people really do wear bras with polka dots. Ton’s of bras with figures on them, and prints. The handbag area, tiny… so, I looked for a pair of jeans in the Misses department. Gordman’s only had 3 styles of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in the Misses department! 3 styles!
The men’s area was sparse, but bright. A few brands, but no Hurley t-​shirts, like I find at the Gordman’s on 40 highway. Infact, oddly enough, I didn’t buy anything at this Gordmans, but it is great eye candy, if that is what you want.
Don’t visit it thinking you are going to buy jeans. This is why I gave it three stars… for jeans, go to the next block, and in the adjacent row of shops is the Gap outlet store.
