Loved the food and atmosphere! Me and a friend sat at the bar, had a few drinks and ate. My only complaint would be that while sitting at the bar we could see into the kitchen and see that none of the staff was wearing gloves! As someone who is a manager of a restaurant this is disgusting and I probably won’t be returning because of this!

Owner is unbelievable. ZERO customer service skills. Will never be back. BE forewarned, if you have any food allergy issues you will be asked not to come! Jennifer needs to change her attitude — she is making a bad name for Blue Springs and just lost a huge cliental because of it!

Lauren is the best bartender/server in blue springs! Always a good time every time we come in here. The pink stuff dressing is amazing and the pizza crust is crispy and perfect every time. Great atmosphere and phenomenal place to watch a game and have a drink!

Came in on a Sunday with a large group to a packed restaurant. We were quickly seated and orders were taken in a timely fashion. Refills were consistent but slow and the food took longer than expected(again, it was packed). We ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Both entrees were delicious, especially the pizza, though portions do leave room for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Certainly worth a return trip.

For a long time I’ve always gone to Minskys for Pizza in KC area, last few times haven’t been happy with service and have heard news of Pizza Shoppe so thought we’d give it a shot. We weren’t disappointed. The new location in downtown is a huge upgrade from the generic strip mall. This new place gives it some life and uniqueness. The staff seemed a little stiff but still helpful. The famous Pink stuff I have heard of so I needed to try it. Interesting, creamy taste to it. Seems like combo of Italian, thousand island but it’s supposed to be a secret! The actual pizza was crisp, thin crust similar to St. Louis Pizza but not as greasy. Tons of combos for toppings. this is my new go to place for local pizza!

Wow. The delicious Pizza Shoppe of my youth is no more. I was looking forward to sharing a yummy pie like I remembered with my son. The crust is yuck. The toppings remind me of what you would get on a frozen pizza. The staff was rude and unfriendly. I am a sad kitty

Pizza is always great. Unfortunately, we always have customer service issues even when it was on 7 Hwy. Today, they ran our card and brought our ticket back to us. Then realized they forgot to charge us for a drink, voided the transaction and reran our credit card. When I asked her for the original ticket and credit ticket she said it was automatic and she has no control over it. So now my card has been charged twice and I have to follow and make sure the credit comes through. She replied, «Well, I can go dig it out of the trash if you want.» Um, no thanks, normally places give you all of your tickets for your records in the first place. I shouldn’t have to ask for what you chose to freely do with MY credit card. If you make a mistake that’s fine, be honest and ask how the CUSTOMER wants to handle it. I don’t have a problem paying for what we order. I would have given you a $ 5 bill and called it good, but instead you didn’t ask, didn’t care and didn’t provide good customer service. We will not be back and if asked we will make sure people know the food is good but the customer service has always been less than decent. Note to owner: When you start counting pennies over customer service, you lose customers. I will pay above and beyond for customer service. I will not return for lack thereof.

Had a party here for my daughters a while back. While the food was great and the room was nice and clean I had a feeling that we weren’t exactly welcome. I had complaints from several of my guest too that the waitress was not friendly at all. We were not an overly rambunctious crowd either, actually very respectful if anything so this treatment was really strange. It saddens me because we would eat here at least twice a month and will now have to trek to the Lee’s Summit’s location. FYI, spent around 500.00 bucks too. Makes no sense.

I’ll start by saying the pizza was yummy! The kiddy pizza is the same size as the Prince size. Needless to say we laughed really hard when we all got our pizza and saw how TINY they were. Pricey too.

The new place is great. It’s so much nicer than the bare place they were in previously. On nice days they open the garage door and it’s like sitting outside. Same great pizza. And I love the«pink stuff».

Been here multiple times. Had a baby«gender-reveal» party here. The staff has been friendly each time and the pizza has been cooked well. I would even comment to say that I was in the restroom(clean, btw) and one of the kitchen staff came in. We said hello and he asked how my meal was going and then thanked me for coming to the restaurant. Obviously they take pride in what they are doing here.

I was there a few days ago and it wouldnt let me check in, weird. The pizza was good but the sizes were small. I was surprised at the King that my friend got. I even laughed. It tasted real well tho. I had a side salad and a small chicken bbq pizza. Wasnt overly wowed but the beer was good and they had 10 or so drafts to choose from. One visit was enough for me

They recently moved to downtown Blue Springs and what a great location! The pizza is always consistent and we like to ask for extra crispy and they do it right. LOVE the pink stuff on my salad… yummy. The owner is very engaged with his customers and even waits on the tables and helps. Definitely worth a trip.

I ate at this Pizza Shoppe for the first time today. I got there after the lunch hour, so, once the three guys at the next table left, I had the place to myself. The server was sitting at the counter, eating her lunch as I came in, but she quickly jumped up and greeted me cheerfully, asked me if I was familiar with their menu, then told me about the lunch specials. She answered my questions about their salads, then gave me a few minutes to peruse the menu before coming back for my order. I ordered the lunch special with the mini pizza(pepperoni, easy on the sauce, please), the small house salad(dry, please, «Pink Stuff» on the side), and a Coke. I showed her my $ 2 off coupon, and she said she’d enter it when she rang up my order. She brought the salad and the Coke almost immediately. The salad was super fresh, and piled high in the bowl. I ate about half of it(dry), then pushed it, and the Pink Stuff across the table to my hubby, who had joined me there(he ate at Mr. Goodcents, but that’s another story), and he finished it off. Then, the mini pizza was served super-hot, fresh from the oven. It smelled so good that I really had to restrain myself to let it cool off enough that I wouldn’t burn the roof of my mouth. To entertain myself while the pizza cooled, I looked around the restaurant. It was neat, and very clean. There were TV’s in three corners, tuned to different channels. The volumes were low, so it wasn’t noisy or distracting. The wall décor made it clear that this Pizza Shoppe is very supportive of the nearby high school. Hubby checked out the men’s room, and reported that it was nice and clean, and that there is a good-sized room in the back that would be great for a meeting or a private party(but we didn’t ask about their policies on such). Finally, my pizza was cool enough to dig into … It was definitely worth the wait! I loved the cracker-y crust, and the sauce was not too sweet. The pepperoni was perfectly spiced, and there was plenty of cheese. YUM! The mini was just the right size for my appetite, too. Although, I’d have been happy to have some slices left over to take home for later! My only quibbles that kept me from giving five stars to this Pizza Shoppe: 1. I’m a Pepsi-holic, and they serve Coke. 2. The glass was more than ¾ full of fine ice, and 3. The Coke was fairly flat and seemed watery. BUT … the menu promised endless refills … but I didn’t enjoy my drink enough to try them out on that. All in all, I’d say this Pizza Shoppe is a little gem worth searching for. It’s easy to miss! It’s at the south end of a tiny strip of shops on the east side of 7 Highway, north of I-70. It is just south of the Country Club driveway. Price Chopper is just south of it, on the other side of the highway. Look for it the next time a pizza hunger hits you and you’re close to Blue Springs, MO.
