Just had lunch WOW. What a great place with really good food and very friendly people. Will definitely be back. The chicken salad is exceptional. But I really loved the Brunswick stew. The pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork nachos were also amazing. They will even give you samples to try if you’re not sure what you’d like.

Best BBQ that I have had. Difference is in the smoking process. I recommend the chicken (if you are not in the mood for Pork).
Jim, the owner (who is also a local Pastor) tours the tables regularly making sure that his food is received well.
I am sorry that Ellen M. had such a bad experience however, I would recommend that she either check her bag for plasticware before she leaves the resteraunt or go down to the hotel front desk and get plasticware from the clerk.
Only two complaints that I have are 1. That they are only open on Thur, Fri and Sat nights and 2. That their large ribeye steaks are only served on Saturday evening.

Nope… I won’t be back. I ordered ribs to go. Got the hot and spicy sauce… the sauce was not very flavorful and was really greasy. They handed me the bag and when I got back to my hotel room, there were no napkins or flatware… nothing to eat with, WTH?
The cole slaw was good, but not great. Very few sides to choose from… I don’t see what all those 5 stars are about…

This is nice little local restaurant that just opened up the Bluefield area. The owner goes out of his way to talk to everybody in the place and make sure everything is good. Food is good, very reasonably priced and service is fast. It’s always better to support local businesses if they are worth your business, and this place earns its business well.

When you walk in, your first greeting is the fabulous barbecue aroma wafting through the entire restaurant! When you walk out with a belly full of the best barbecue and homemade peanut butter pie you’ve ever tasted, your clothes will smell like they’ve been spritzed with barbecue perfume! And your wallet will still be full too because the most expensive item on the menu is $ 8! Worth the trip and includes a view of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains in southwest Virginia! If you are a bbqaholic, you MUST CHECK OUT THIS AMAZING RESTAURANT! GO! GO! GO!

The chicken was so dry I couldn’t even eat the second piece and it needed more sauce. Just a mess of bland, unappetizing meat and bone. I hate to pan a local place like this, but they’ll need to do a lot better than that to get my vote.

Had lunch there yesterday and forgot to post my visit. Nothing fancy but the food was good (chicken combo). And the service was outstanding! Was in the area doing some volunteer work at the State Prison. Good food-​good folks– very fair prices!

We go here for lunch at work at least once a week. I think it’s the best bbq place in the area. It’s only open a few days a week, so it can be crowded at times. Pulled pork with spicy sauce is excellent, as are the ribs and the chicken. As far as sides go, there’s not a huge variety, but the homemade baked beans are absolutely amazing! They also have random home made desserts each day that are usually pretty awesome. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

By far the best BBQ in the area. The owners and servers are an absolute delight! Last time we went they had some type of Oreo dessert that was incredible! We make it a point to go every time we visit Bluefield.

First visit to this new restaurant, delicious BBQ sandwiches for lunch today by takeout. Can’t wait to got back to eat inside. Great to have a new restaurant in the old Cotton’s location.
